Its a sad/funny/bittersweet/brutally realistic way of accepting 'thr change". It reminds me of the change that comes as a little girl becoming a woman. It hurts, but thats what our god has given us. And its all good.💕
The first scene in which the car is taken from the river, there is a thunder strike. When I visited Juliette, I saw Whistle Stop and heard a thunder strike.
One of the best movies ever I so absolutely positively. Love love love Kathey Beats she is so the best The queen well for me she is ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Love this movie Fried Green tomatoes
"I'm too young to be old and I'm too old to be young." I thought that was such a silly line when I first saw this but now I am at the age where I know exactly what she means. 💀
My little brother Tony was born with brain damage and the doctor told my parents the same thing. He passed away quietly in his sleep at 54 in 2020. I feel so fortunate we had him for as long as we did.
Brilliant scene. Beautifully written and acted. Evelyn's sweater looks like the walls of Ninny's room at the rest home, but we wouldn't know that until later.
I know its totally unrelated to this movie but going to mention it anyway...i find it ironic when she played in Misery i hated that character so much because she was creepy and a complete nutbag...but the character she played in this movie i felt so bad for her because she was so sweet and i wanted her to be happy and loved the exact opposite feeling i had in the other movie. Thats some damn good freaking acting she did in both of these movie roles!
No one can without a mirror because it's a collapsed tube inside your body...you can't even really see inside it because it's collapsed when at rest, like on the toilet when you poop and pee. Doesn't matter how old you are. You can kinda see one of the back walls with the ridges called rugae on it if you look hard enough into the opening to the collapsed tube and have a good bright light.
*Here they come to steal my soul, GHOST TRAIN* *Wait it out until I know, GHOST TRAIN* *Trying not to fee like you did, GHOST TRAIN* *Moving up until I go go-o, GHOST TRAIN*
I've know the location because I live in the state it's in, location of the railroad is a town called Juliette Georgia, the railroad that runs it is Norfolk Southern and the cafe is open and serving as good a food as any
That's a true Southern gentlewoman right there - not wanting to go through the change, and can't look at her own vajayjay. Kathy Bates was born to play this part!
You could say so, more like a little bit of the past echoing through into the present. Worth watching the full film, the train plays a big part of the story.

Not!😅

Kathy plays a southern woman perfectly!!!!!
Were Idgy and Ninny the same person?
That's some damn good advice: You get yourself some hormones and get out of the house and get a job."
Menopause sucks.

I'm 42 and I am here, I get it now.
You really cut it off just seconds before the scene could end properly??? 😓
i know you ruined the brautiful score.

Whenever my mom is complaining I tell her she just needs some of those stress tab #4s for good measure. 😂🤣 Gets her every time.
what is this movie called
Fried Green Tomatoes, one of my favourites by the way.

💕Thank You💕Greetings from The Free People’s Movement From Sweden💕

lol and then the movie Waterboy was another side of her. Bad Santa 2, About Schmidt,… she’s really incredible!
And Dolores Claiborne!!!
Now that's a true actress ❤!
Now she's starring in the new Matlock series, and her character is a sweetheart!
@@samwiseg7380I was going to say this. Dolores Claiborne was her best I think.
Kathy Bates is so beautiful gorgeous woman, love her
Rip to a beautiful gorgeous woman Jessica Tandy, we still miss you
Kathy Bates was so beautiful in this movie.
❤️ Yes
TAWANDA! In the most Christian way possible.

Inappropriate😡
You think so? One should always know the state of their vagina. Why neglect a body part.
Watch the movie and you’ll see why she says that 😂@@DebraMcMillintheRailfannerandA.
My son and I saw this movie maybe 10 times! The greatest movie ever.
a mother's love is unconditional
This scene makes me burst into tears. Jessica Tandy played this role with love and sadness. A perfect mixture.
Just like me I’ll never get over my uncles passing
ever heard of screen recorders?
Kathy bates looks adorable

You deserve to be a parent if you look at life like this
Filming location of this railroad pls?

Juliette, Georgia. At least that's where they filmed this scene. Here's some drone footage someone took of it: ua-cam.com/video/Rjptbw9-bEw/v-deo.html
Funny, I seem to burst into laughter for no reason at all! :D
I love this scene. A mother's unconditional love is very powerful.
I can even look at my own vagina! Well honey I can't help you on that one Lmaooooo mom and I always laugh at that everytime we watch it🤣
Love this movie!❤😂😊
