E90 LS3 TT3 Summit Point Main - No Aero PB
I have minimal experience driving without aero, so this was a great weekend for my development. I also had a brand new brake kit I am learning so the braking leaves a lot to be desired as well.

3652lbs, 374 AHP LS3 swapped E90 on A7s Had a great first time at NJMP, learning the track and battling with the locals! 2nd on Saturday but took 1st on Sunday. My car felt planted all weekend and really shined on Thunderbolt with A7s

Set a New PB 1:18.17 even though I missed turns I did well before and improved turns I messed up before. Hah! And the saga continues. I did happen to win this time, so that helps.

@@jackdirt84 Thanks for your reply! I'm also gathering parts to LS swap my E90 323i, its a Canada special with N52B25. N52 is very smooth, the magnesium aluminum liner block is very light, but not much aftermarket support or engine development, so performance gain is quite difficult without forced induction, and I want to stay naturally aspirated, less heat and hassle. Your LS swapped E90 track session video boosted my confidence for track/road course focused build, other then straight line speed. Any recommendations/suggestion for chassis reinforcement, suspension upgrade and M3 suspension component swap? Thanks in advance!

couldve used dot 3 fluid and drove too hard causing fluid to boil and pop a seal in the master, or car wasn't mechanically sound would be my guess. sudden brake loss is hard to acheive, as fluid will styll be able to drive the piston back, unless the piston between the brake pedal and booster is malfunctioning.

Does the car still handle well with this set up?
The Aluminum LS3 and further back placement (v8 is shorter than inline 6) maintained 50/50 balance. So yes it very much does handle just as well.

Hi Jerry, that is done with a one off can bus module. I believe it is now with lse9x.com but not yet in production. I would check with them.

The Solo J pipes eliminate all drone. It’s a nice smooth ride at highway speeds
I've done thousands of laps here on motorcycles, very interested in an ls e90 swap! What is your best time at summit main in the e90?
Best is 1:22.4xx, but so far the driver has been the biggest issue, so I expect to improve with time.

It can work, the diff is different but yes the engine swap works
@@jackdirt84 do their mounts work ? Bc they say they don’t work with the e90M rear subframe But I’m sure it’s not a big deal for a shop to cook up something. I just know the vibes man I had a z06 for 3 years heads cam. A ls3 with a cam can easily get towards 500whp. I wish the coyote motor wasn’t so wide Bc that probably suits the e90 better can easily rev out to 8k and the gen 3 coyote motor I’m seeing 8k+

@@daheemba most people are looking for around $6,000 on an NA build for labor. It goes up from there. Just depends how far someone wants to take it.
