Make JASP Tables in Google Docs pretty and professional
Intro stats students: earn a few extra points by making your tables professional and awesome instead of "ugly" and "copied straight from JASP". Honestly, the meat of this is in the first minute or two. After that it's mostly just more tables.

Yeah, I forgot the lens was set to manual focus so it's all blurry... maybe that's, like, artistic?

Lake Erie, Dunkirk, NY. March 19, 2023. Sadly TRAGICALLY the camera was unfocused the whole time. Then the wind blew the tripod over, even with a 3-lb weight.

This is a not-very-exciting timelapse video taken in insanely cold conditions at the Kinzua Bridge near Mt. Jewett, PA. It was a sunset, and at least that is nice.

The Case of the Moneys in the Pockets (or: What are p-values?)
me encanta este tema!!! y el album "Charango al Sur" es FENOMENAL!!!
Aside from the beauty of the music - he has such nimble and greaceful fingers!
i think that this is the best explanation avaliable on youtube. i was so confused about when you do post hoc because everyone talks about significant interaction and not sig mean eff. THANK U
el maestro es una eminencia y de lo mejor que hay en la interpretacion del charango, pero aqui de flamenco no hay absolutamente nada....
Standard error makes me want to cry :(
Thank you so much this is explained so much better than my current professor and textbook.
Not so much variability within means but between groups GOD ALMIGHTY IT MAKES SENSE
Thank you so much, so....... if I only have a factor with 2 options ( black or white ) , the pos hoc test it's not recommended cuz the answer it's visible, differences may be in group 1 vs group 2 ( no margins or other factor levels might be involved?) thank u so much
Thank you! This lecture is really helpful. Couldn't find this explanation basically anywhere else on the internet after a 2-hour search.
I second this comment. Gonna explore more if your channel
Gorgeous. Heading there this May. Which site did you stay at?
Feminist theory is at it's core corrupt and doesn't really belong in psychology. It would be better suited as a political ideology .
Quick question at 9:06. You say that there are 8 means, which means that the are 24 potential pairwise comparisons. Isnt this incorrect? Shouldnt there be 7+6+5+4+3+2+1 = 28 comparisons?
8*7/2. youre right i think
Cool
i don't think this is correct.
Thanks for the video. I read that when the interaction is significant we cannot interpret the F ratio results of the factors individually ... this means we cannot carry on POST HOC ANALYSIS...? your videos says another thing Can you help me understand better?
The background noise in the video was distracting
Probably. Many of these videos were recorded at the last minute when, for some reason, I couldn't make it physically to class. They were certainly not recorded under ideal conditions.
Nice, thanks :)
Like penny in inspector gadget. Always wanted a laptop in a book. Or like mission impossible when they were at the opera and tech dude was using a paper laptop screen thing
Very good and funny videos bring a great sense of entertainment!
the video image is too poor, you need to fix it more
Do you think the rounding is a bit off at 9:20? I tried to follow along and got a different SD: 3.117 or 3.18
Almost certainly. There are multiple errors in these lectures. Sorry.
Thank you so much. This is really helpful! --By a linguistics graduate student
I had to re-teach myself all of this for my master's, Christ. Thank you, this was helpful.

The only reason why I watched this video: to learn what an "OMNIBUS-Test" is. It is in the title but NOT MENTIONED ONCE in the entire video.
Ah, I missed that. These videos were for my stats class a few years ago, so I wasn't focused on getting every detail correct; we talked about them in person, after being watched. To answer your question, "Omnibus test" is the F test when applied to an entire ANOVA. Later, if you compare individual groups to each other, ignoring some groups, that's not "omnibus." The omnibus test is the F test represented by the p-value in the initial ANOVA table.
I started to watch for "omnibus test" but I leave it. Thank you very much you saved my time
It's amazing! Do you have any documentation of this? Would love to see what you've done in detail!
Sorry I don't get to checking notifications here often. Yes, there's some more detail in an imgur album I made, here: imgur.com/gallery/XNpjr7j Glad you like it! It's a fun little thing to work on.
you do a really good job
Thank you. These were made to help a class I taught from 2014 to 2016. I know they're pretty dull, but I just needed some material to help the students understand the textbook and lectures. Glad they helped someone else understand :)
Great!!!
The audio cuts in and out around 12:00 minutes. But I like your explanations. Very easy to understand.
very useful! thanks
I'm extremely happy if anyone finds any use in these videos :) I made them for psychology statistics students (about 2015-2016) who were struggling with a difficult-to-understand textbook, but the videos are not exactly professional quality. Glad they helped someone.
boi dis confusin
I have a naive question: Why between-groups variation, but not the total variation?
I do not think I understand your question. Can you add more details or context?
Thank you man :)
8:43 The mean of group A does not appear to 3.5 with those values. This looks like a mistake. The mean is 6 and the variance 5.6.
Thanks. Sadly, there are probably numerical errors in several of the videos I used for this course. I don't teach it right now, and probably won't be fixing any errors, though.
video helps me a lot. thank you ^.^
Thank you professor!
I'm going to get that doughnut.
You're supposed to put stress on the first syllable. It's "ghow-ss." Also, Gauss was German.
Your audio cuts out at 9:04.
video seems to be cut-off
