bruh. i have beyerdynamic 990 pro, the only issue i face everytime is translation. i should learn the fr curve of them, i know that they are tad bit bossted at 100hz. but i always forget it while mixing. also, the peaks and dips after 4k region in headphones are ridiculous. some 6 db peak boosted at 8k hz. how do you approach this fact and go ahead mix, as far as i know almost every headphones has ridiculous amounts of peaks and dips after 4k. i mean do you delibarately think like i should cut at 8k on guitars cuz there is a peak in there? i have asked this to lot of youtube guys but they just seem so lazy to answer this lmao

I agree Studio monitors are not 'EXTREMELY' necessary, but they will help you to polish your craft more. Those slight compression and frequency clashes, resonance is barely noticeable in headphone but these fault in your mix will notice in studio monitors. The Professionals mix and master on their speakers so that you can enjoy their music in any speakers and headphones. Studio monitors are not overrated at all, they will help you for better mix and master.
