What an amazing trip. Each segment was magnificent. Days were long and enjoyable, both during and after the hikes. The physical effort was a small price to pay. Evenings at the refugios (backcountry lodge) bars were fun with drinks and socializing.
Packs were full, prepared for a wide range of weather that Patagonia is known for.
Fortune was good and the weather ideal. Only rain was on the 4th leg to Refugio Grey, refreshing after the hot sun of prior days. Focused more on water and flora that day.
The trail was quite crowded at times; nothing but good interactions with a wide variety of people.
