For English translation scroll further down. "Like a Dog Chasing Cars" (deutsch: "Wie ein Hund, der Autos nachjagt.") ist ein von Hans Zimmer komponiertes Stück, das im Soundtrack des Films "The Dark Knight" (2008) enthalten ist. Die intensive und treibende Musik unterstreicht auf epische Art und Weise dramatische Szenen im Film, insbesondere in Verbindung mit dem Hauptbösewicht Joker, gespielt...

Rigoletto Paraphrase by Franz Liszt / Giuseppe Verdi
Amazing
I really like this piece, and the way you play it, but the song fell into pieces because you are too romantic, sometimes run too fast, than slow down straight away, which is a key for monatic music, but in my opinion you overdo it by a lot. Another thing, that the middle part is extremely fast. You should play it much slower in my opinion. I know nobody cares about my opinion, and who am I to criticize you, and if I have my problems, shot it how to do it myself, but I want to help you to improve, and I think its good, to have a person who can watch and listen a music from above, and see the whole piece in one. Your technique is amazin. I can tell you have lots of hours and practise in this piece, and in general, I just wanted to share my thoughts with you ;D
Thank you very much for sharing. I appreciate your impression. I’ve been playing this valse since my childhood. When one plays a piece for so many years one tends to look for different ways to play it. And when I played back my recording I also noticed that the middle part is right on the edge as far as the tempo is concerned. However, I decided to leave it the way it was. But you are completely right: it’s absolutely appropriate to play it slower.
Magnificently played mate Bravo🙌🔥
Thank you my friend 🙏
Oh Denis... Where should i begin? Well, I have listened to this piece more times than it's probably sane for a person to listen to and your interpratation of this piece is, by far, one of my favorites if not my favorite so far. I've been listening/watching your videos for some time now (and I mark these two expierences because watching your performance is something VERY much different form just listening to it... your hands distract me way too much! They're nice and elegant and move so smothly across the keys, it's so lovely, entrancing to watch) But I digress! Anyways, I just love the way you take your time with this nocturne, you make pauses (little ones) between notes that I've never saw/listend before. I mean, i don't know if you do this on purpose or what, but I just love the effect of it. Intentionally or not. It gives the piece another meaning, it opens our senses to other percepcetions. I just love your interpretation :) And, well, it's been YEARS since I've spoken a word in german with another humam being but here it goes (and please don't laugh at me if somethin bizarr actualy comes out of my mouth. Your mother language is tricky and so is mine hheeh) Ich wünsche dir viel Glück auf deinem Weg. Bitte erfreu uns weiterhin mit deinem unglaublichen Klaviertalent. Auf wieder hören ;D Ps: Should you ever come to Brazil, please, do grace us with your talent in Rio de Janeiro. I'd very much like to hear you perform live :)
Dear priscilaoliveira7746, thank you so much for your warm and kind words. And I really appreciate the time you invested in writing this huge comment! I really don’t know what to say other than that I’m happy to learn that people notice my playing style and that I’m deeply flattered from what I’ve read so far. And yes, those pauses you mentioned were fully intentional. They are a crucial element of Chopin’s music and I integrate them whenever it is appropriate. And also thank you for the German sentence! That was a lovely gesture ☺️ your German is absolutely fine btw 👍🏻 I’m very much looking forward to traveling to Brazil 🇧🇷 someday since I’ve never entered the South American continent before. And I promise that I will give a live performance once I’m there. And maybe I will get to learn some Portuguese phrases as well 😉 thanks again my friend. 🙋🏼♂️ Lovely greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
I'm glad you took the time to respond :) And well, it's but the truth. Which makes me wonder what kind of other elements can you add/subtract to give a breath of your own identity to their pieces. I'll keep an eye on your channel to find out :) Also, I'll make myself less scarce from your comment section as well :) And true, you should at least once in a lifetime, try your luck anywhere in the tropics. Just for the fun of it. For the story. I'll see you around, mister pianist! And BEST of luck trying your hand at Portuguese. It is hell, believe me hehe But so is Deutsch. Am I right?!
Wow! So nice and beautiful! Could you play Debussy - Arabesque No. 1 someday? I support you from Spain🇪🇸
Thank you! Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪 of course. Both Arabesque Nr. 1 and 2 will be soon on my channel.
@@DenisWiens Do you know a thing I appreciate of you? That you have the dedication to read and repply every comment.

Thank you 🙏
Really nice interpretation and flow in this piece here! 👍
Thank you 🙏
Hiiiiiii I dont know but i just would like to ask how much time did you need to learn this piece? Im 12 and i have been playing piano for three years I just started to learn it and it has 7 pages..
Hi, I learned this piece as a UA-cam project. That’s why I wanted it to be ready as soon as possible. So after working on it non-stop I was done within a week.
awesome you play so well, congrats ;)
Thank you 😊
god damn I love this guy's sense of tempo and rhythm his beats go so hard I started headbanging so many people that play this piece push too hard for speed and accuracy and not enough to musicality (also what I said when sharing this video with friends)
Thank you so much 😊 also for sharing.
Amazing video!
I’m glad you like it 👍🏻
For some weird day, I enjoy clair de lune on synthesia over Kun Woo Paik ver. Top-tier for midi recordings in my memory, Noire samples? Btw, if u don't mind uploading classical unrelated piece, I want to hear Inazuma theme with ur play style (see Jasper Hu vid 2 yrs ago if u not sure what it is).
Yes, in my opinion Noire is one of the most realistic plug-ins that come close to acoustic grand pianos. I see what I can do about Inazuma.
Such unique nuance, rarely see someone chilling with pp octaves no cresc like me (used to). 2:35 to 2:42 was brutal like blade clashes, left ring did a gud joob, love the trill too.
Thank you so much 🙏
This tempo have it own glamor. Amazing interpretation.
Thank you 🙏
Piano model? very good playing
Thank you! It’s an Kawai CN 39 but with “Noire”-plug-in by Native Instruments as sound engine.
Zauberhaft!!!
Wunderschön, Dennis 🎉😊
Vielen Dank, mein bester! 🙏
There Are Many Princes and Nobles, But There Is Only One Beethoven. Beautiful Performance

Only a pianist will truely understand the sheer scope of magnificense this video contains. The 3rd movement of Moonlight sonata is very challenging, and you aced it! Bravo!
Thank you! I appreciate that 🙏
Gänsehaut, sehr gut, Denis!

Exquisite
Brilliant mate! Earned a sub for the great work
Thanks so much! Welcome aboard! 😉
I can play this but you can play it better than Chopin!
lmao ?
Congratulations! You are an excellent pianist! I hope you persist and uncover the mysteries of UA-cam so that one day you will have a great channel, which you deserve. Just out of curiosity, what instrument do you use to get such good MIDI and pianistic performance? A digital piano, MIDI controller, or an acoustic piano? Thank you in advance, and I wish you success.
Thank you for your kind words! ☺️For a digital piano I use a Kawai CN 38. But I don’t use the internal sound engine. Instead I record everything with Garage Band with the “Noire”-Plugin by Native Instruments with a couple of individual adjustments.
I didn't know you could speak English, guess I didn't have to learn German after all
English is no problem 😉
Vielen dank meine freund
Sehr gerne 👍🏻
Una de las interpretaciones más bellas que he escuchado en mí vida, de esta pieza. Amo el silencio 5:04 en esa parte de la coda, realmente le da un toque especial ✨
Muchas gracias! 🙏
