Grab a copy of the book by Abdur Rahman Chughtai of Lahore ke dabistan musswari. Many issues are clarified. He himself belonged to a famous family of artists and MIMARS, and here is a plaque on the subject in his house in Kocha Chabuk Sawaran. Descendant of Ustad Ahmad Mimar Lahori architect of the Taj Mahal. Various books of his brother Dr Abdullah Chaghatai on same subject.
