Man i am new to the game and itˋs overwhelming. My first dino is a hatz on the official server at adolescent stage. But i haven‘t engaged in any fights because i dont know how and against what dino i can win and against which i have no chance. And i don‘t know any of there attacks, streangths or weaknesses.

What sub species do you use? Also, do you prefer preened feathers over tough beak because its better? Or just preference?

What even happened here? The Alio somehow couldn't outturn the Pycno and couldn't run away from him either. Must have been lagging, a normal Alio can turn almost in place and can outrun a Pycno at least until his stamina gets depleted.

Ha, server outages are the worst! Was it yesterday (10/26/2024)? If so, we were on the same server, I encountered two Rexes at Green Valley and managed to knock one off the cliff. I'll post the clip later but in any case the skins look similar.

Ouch, bad luck! Do you know the takeoff technique with Stab? You run towards your target, you launch the stab attack and you take off, if it's done well, you peck in flight, it's not bad against Rexs.

Nice kill, my best was on officials on my adolescent thal. I killed an adult hatz. Basically we both spawned in flyers buff or something like that, I annoyed and dive bombed and attacked his head for a while, till he got annoyed and chased me, he fell in the ocean but was able to swim back, then I just kept doing this till he fell again in the water and drowned, then I as like yay, now I have a trophy to grow my conc (I was growing a conc) but then I remembered my conc or any other Dino was in a homecave 💀

And, as a steg main, corner camping as steg means death against a good player, because of the tail cooldown. So yeah, that steg wasn't the brightest
