Judy Garland is my favorite actress and always will be.
Judy Garland and The 1955 Oscars
Here, Judy Garland tells the story of her ‘Star Is Born’ Academy Award mishap on her CBS show in 1963.
The events play out in the clips afterward, which are from the 2001 biopic, “Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows.”

This is the first audio recording in a series of many made by Judy in the process of writing an autobiography. Unfortunately, the book never came to fruition, with the exception of a couple. chapters. Luckily, the audiotapes still survive, which is what these are. I will be sharing each one individually with captions, and then compiling them altogether in one long video with every recording and...

This is the surviving audio (and small video clips) from one of Judy Garland's appearances on the Merv Griffin Show, in which she reunites with Margaret Hamilton. While their interaction was short, it's an amazing thing to hear. Unfortunately, the video of the broadcast is lost media. The video clips scene in this video are from somebody's recording of their television set during the broadcast ...
My Judy Garland Collection (2023)

I decided to do an updated video of my Judy collection. I previously did one in 2020 (linked below), but my collection has grown quite a lot since then! This video was actually intended to go up on Judy’s birthday, but that day ended up being pretty busy, so I thought that I could upload it on the day of Judy’s passing, but that day also ended up being pretty busy unfortunately. Nonetheless, I ...

Not only a fantastic singer and actress, but would have made a great comedian too.
The best!
“It is very important here that I see your, EYES.” LOL
This movie introduced me to Tammy Blanchard and I’ve always remembered her.
Terrific performance by Judy Davis❤
So her own husband sid robbed her of her money? 🤔🧐

That guy MR Gilmore looks and sounds so much like Ed O'Neill
What happen to the sound @ 26:36??And 31:38???
They muted those parts because they contain copyrighted songs
Her daughter made an amazing bio for her mother ❤❤ not like the other Hollywood daughter
I wouldn't have enjoyed WOZ with Shirley Temple. She was great as a child and that was it
The way she sang somewhere over the rainbow when she got older 😢

❤ She has such a beautiful voice
I enjoyed her gift talent movies singing 🎶 😊❤
I’m met Mickey Dean’s in New York back in 1974 when I moved to New York to go to architecture school-
Those greedy executives traumatized and damaged her. Sad.
There's just something about the way the locals reacted to Glinda's arrival. I always had this feeling that they've never met her before but they immediately showed her respect.🙏
The Americans today should sue the Federal Government on behalf of Judy Garland. Get everything back with interest. They destroyed her like other Artist of that generation. How dare them to take her money and leave her nothing.
I remember when this premiered. Shamefully, I had never seen The Wizard of Oz before, but I remember all the press surrounding this film. I fell in love with it and its cast. Well done.
So have u watched The Wizard of Oz as of yet?? It's quite literally my fave movie!! 🌟
@@anthonyhosea8780 Of course! lol It's a Thanksgiving (weekend) tradition for me. 🙂
I remember this masterpiece well. It's incredibly difficult to find someone who can perfectly emulate and embody the essence of a Hollywood icon like Judy Garland. Judy Davis's performance is outstanding and heartfelt. I’ve also seen Renée Zellweger’s 2019 portrayal in "Judy," which was excellent. However, I have a special fondness for original films, where the first performance sets an unparalleled standard. It's hard to envision anyone else in the role, much like Judy Garland as Dorothy or Barbra Streisand as Fanny Brice. These portrayals are as iconic as the characters themselves. While Renée’s version brings a new style and nuance for this generation, both performances are commendable. Nonetheless, I still prefer Judy Davis's rendition.
R.I.P To A Beautiful Gorgeous Woman Judy Garland, Still Miss You, Always
Great Performances By Everyone In This Movie
This is how women are still being treated, and we all have a piece of those ruby red shoes.
💐💐💐💐😭😭😭🙏🏿🙏🏿👠👠👑👑🏰🌈❤️❤️❤️
Devastating!
Great film
They should have kept Tammy Blanchard playing Judy Garland up until the age of 40, and then replace her with Judy Davis. Judy Garland was still quite young at the age of 23 when she married Vincente Minnelli. This would have made for a better movie. Judy Davis was too old and her voice to raspy to play Judy Garland in her younger years.
Tammy was 14 when she played Judy. She would’ve looked way too young if she continued to play Judy as an adult
@@Mooms Tammy was actually 24, which would’ve been close to Judy’s age around the MMISL era.
Why did you tear out part of the audio?
@@mattw4496 Copyright issues. It’s the only way the film could’ve been posted.
Blanchard's speech inflections are spot on. I assumed all the songs were dubbed which only makes sense. Nobody but nobody could deliver a song like Garland. Oh there are others with style and technique but they use a song to showcase their voice. Judy never got in the way of the song. I've heard she was quite a character off screen. There was not time to portray much of that in this film.
Now I know I have a heart because it's breaking 😢
I've forgotten how magnificent an actress Judy Davis is. Thank you for uploading this masterpiece.
I loved Renee Z in the Judy movie she looked so much like her idt this lady looks much like her
Never realized how arrogant and selfish she was!
Hmm...The Meet Me In St. Louis Judy looks and sounds like Faye Dunaway more than Judy!! The younger Judy looked a lot more like the real Judy.
wished it was closed captioned. i'm deaf but a t the same want to watch this.
24:37 CHILLS
I own this biopic it was very very well done and it really depicted her hard life and all the highs and lows she went through until her last breath on this earth. One of my favorite scenes is with her CBS show executives and she calls the white house (knows the number by heart) and speaks to the president of the United States John F Kennedy and sings for him "over the rainbow" on the phone 2:16:47! My favorite line 2:31:59 = Difficult? Yes I have heard how difficult it is to work with Judy Garland , do you know how difficult it is to BE Judy Garland? I been trying to be Judy Garland all my life!!!!! That line always breaks my heart every time because she conveys how hard it is to live up to this image of being the great Judy Garland !
She really does look like Judy, wow. And if I may say so, Judy was even more gorgeous, so sweet and bright, such a shining star.
She was only 4 ft 11 no wonder they thought she was fat even an extra 5 lbs would make her look fat and she was beautiful
You will never find the original because when people started noticing it they changed every tape and dvd. The one my sister bought for her sons I saw it.
Forget the piece of 💩 what Renee’s caricature film was (with her atrocious singing), this Judy biopic is so much better! The two actresses here actually portraying Judy wonderfully!
Knew Greer Garson was my nieghbor in Dallas for years and friend too along with Van Claiborne...miss em
We should of named her Molly Garland
For all the filmmakers' meticulous attention to detail, there's one thing they didn't get right: Judy Garland was left-handed. And yes, the actresses could have faked it.
at 8:09 she signs her MGM contract with her left hand!
Judy Davis is the best..
I think this is one of the best biopic of Judy
Good God! These biopics suck donkey balls. MAGA! Trump 2024!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
