Watching the Ugandans gives me thoughts of North Korea. This is an impoverished country ruled by a dictator who spends inordinately on a military both in terms of money and time preparing for wars that will never materialize and if indeed they do, then Uganda will ultimately lose because compared to say Kenya or Tanzania, it is smaller and with fewer human and material resources. Like his counterpart Kim Jong Il in Pyongyang, the main reason for M7 building up the army is primarily to keep himself in power. Nobody is attacking Uganda. Those resources would be better used in developing the country so that they can approach their neighbors standards of living.
