I got a tif with a hh repair. I had and have severe bloating both pre and post op. 3 months after my surgeries I noticed I would get extremely lightheaded with blurry vision and migraine like symptoms for hours after I ate. 7 months later and it still happens everyday, i have no idea whats going on so im looking stuff up on my own. My doctors seem to treat me like a head case rather than try to genuinely help me. Turns out I have dysphagia or esophageal dysmotility based on a manometry, so i have no clue what part that plays. I also did get a gastric emptying test done due to bloat and constipation and it seemed to be normal, if anything it was on the slower side. So im genuinely lost here, just sharing my story incase somone else unfortunate as me can know they aren't alone

I started using prescription medical cannabis THC/CBD with an MCT carrier oil. I have been on it around a year and wondering if it is the cause of my worsening GI issues (slow stomach emptying and slow motility). I have ME/hyper mobility. No one can give me a definitive answer.

A manometry is a torture test for the patient, caused me PTSD. And a panic attack, I've had nightmares from this. I cried, screamed, and chocked, bloody nose, with no numbing beforehand. I also wrote a complaint to the hospital. I've been through a lot of major surgeries and medical test, but nothing compares to this horror of a experience. Find another way. Very inhumane. Just a head's up, hoping that it may help changed the way this is done for folks.

Baking soda with water works wonders just move up slowly starting with a 1/4 tsp with 8 oz of water and move up 1/4 tsp at a time as too much can cause a serious problem, so take baby steps.
