I had this done a few years ago. Not the greatest of tests to have but the dr said that food basically goes down my throat by way of gravity most of the time, rather than peristalsis. My choking on spit/drink/food has got worse over the years. Had the test but had no help for the issues!

I am 47 years old and I have damaged difincta muscles and have bowel incontinence I have had this post bowel prolapse operation with fisher/hemmeroid fixed. I open my bowels once a week and then after that I am continuously wiping 24/7 for 3 days, then it’s ground hog day, paranoid when leaving home, currently waiting to have tests to determine whether I’ll have both inside and out operation so embarrassing, sometimes I just want to put a tampon up there to block it 😂so frustrating 🥴

I have it...and it sets off u.t.i. meaning Monumental amounts of drugs to control u t I which has now rendered my kidneys stage 4 ...the sphincter is Weak...I have diabetes controlled by exercise and diet, I have I b s as well I am sensitive to dairy.

I got a tif with a hh repair. I had and have severe bloating both pre and post op. 3 months after my surgeries I noticed I would get extremely lightheaded with blurry vision and migraine like symptoms for hours after I ate. 7 months later and it still happens everyday, i have no idea whats going on so im looking stuff up on my own. My doctors seem to treat me like a head case rather than try to genuinely help me. Turns out I have dysphagia or esophageal dysmotility based on a manometry, so i have no clue what part that plays. I also did get a gastric emptying test done due to bloat and constipation and it seemed to be normal, if anything it was on the slower side. So im genuinely lost here, just sharing my story incase somone else unfortunate as me can know they aren't alone

Ive had endoscopy, colonoscopy, barium swallow....just a minor stricture in the esophagus...had a small dialation..5 days later ..back to the feeling of food stuck in my throat....throwing up is always a thought..... any suggestions??????
