How I turned a MONKEY into a DUBSTEP BANGER in an HOUR!!
I turned the master down 5 db because the project is EXTREMELY loud but it's still so much louder than my voice sadly. I had a blast making this though and please make sure to check out @electricdad7325! I feel like this project is a very good example of how resampling can make an entire song and I encourage people (in any DAW) to mess with their stretching algorithms to get fun stuff like this! Let me know if I should finish this and turn it into a full song!

Two medium demons beat in one day! I really liked this level and had a ton of fun with it! I was recording for almost an hour before I decided to cut and start a new recording. Nice use of silence in that early drum section. Normally I forget stuff like that lmao
idk if its the wavetable that isnt right but if I open your free patch or try to recreate it myself it sounds absolutely nothing like your patch
hmm thats interesting because the post processing on it is very minimal. try playing at different octaves to see if that helps. also make sure the wavetable can be selected from inside serum and youre not drag and dropping it. hope this helps!

how do i bring the preset into serum itself? It's not seeming to work for me (thanks in advance!)
no problem! so theres a user folder inside of serum where you store all your own patches and you can add it in there, or even make your own folder to customize all your samples! if youre having issues finding the folder its under library -> audio -> presets -> Xfer on mac. if youre on windows im sure you can quickly google it!

@@DARKMAJIKwell it's really good, don't give up on it. The meshing in the pitch change is spot on. I might add some overlapping or some distortion and shape the sound just a bit differently to give it that chainsaw anxiety the clubs used to love to play. Ooooo and maybe a good low rumbling bass constant with a fade in and out of the vocal stretch.

i honestly think as simple as it sounds, just watching tons of youtube videos is an amazing start. another great tip is recreating songs you love, youll end up learning a lot about how they mixed/structured it which you can use in your own music! hope this helps <3

this song is a bit different than my others, the main thing carrying the track is a sub with a *ton* of post processing and peaks. other than that theres the background synth melody and the percussion i processed a ton. hope this helps!

Yo, the MiniMeters is in the way of some of the effects on your rack when you're detailing the post processing.
oh yeahhh my bad. the main thing is that the reverb has 72 ms of pre delay and the decay is all the way down. mix is around 35%. everything else you should be able to see :D
