If you watch closely this song requires an immense amount of intensity and for one song you can pull it off but can you imagine playing that style for over three hours every night? John Bohnam was my all time favorite drummer and a great influence on me and anyone who picked up a pair of sticks. Nobody did it better than him in rock music,nobody!!!

Chad Smith channeling John Bonham doing Achilles? Expected less, but instead got a riveting, masterful performance. It reminds you how complex and difficult that song is. Guitars and vocals are good, but not like the drums. Inspired.

He may have been in the zone but he did not drum it right at all imo. Everyone is too busy trying to add to it instead of bring disciplined and playing it correctly and he just doesn’t sorry

I've always imagined this song as a galloping of horses. They begin to approach, their hooves getting louder and louder. The steam pouring out of their noses. Huge battle horses with their muscles glistening in moonlight. They proceed even faster yet, the ground shaking beneath them. By the middle of the song you are simply run over by them yet they are no less beautiful and awe inspiring. Brought to you courtesy of the greatest rhythm section in rock and roll history.
