"One" is inarguably a Prog Rock, concept album masterpiece from beginning to end. To synopsize the fall and redemption of mankind so cogently and passionately over the course of a single album is nothing less than an inspired work of art. Bravo, Mr. Morse.

This song is what made odd times click for me. Portnoy played and explained it very well on his DVD. Also, I just love the song.

The most beautiful melody and lyrics of all in this song. It's maybe even #1 imo from the entire album. The entire III Sides To Every Story album was, by far, the most under-rated album of all time.

Harmonies are god like Second to Bee Gees when these guys work as a group. The sound they have still hits me to the core.

Love this song, love this album. I liked Extreme 2 a lot, but when 3 sides came out, they definitely became one of my all time favorite bands, right up there with The Beatles, Led Zep, Rush, Zebra, Triumph, SRV, Van Halen, Arc Angels, Dream Theater, Gary Moore. And then I got to see them for the "Punchline" tour... too tight! What a great band! And then they broke up, keeping a band together is hard, it takes commitment, from ALL members. Good times, bad times, Who Cares?????!!!!!
