I have a numark m6 usb my crossfader burnt out as well.... i replaced my crossfader with the innofader 2.0 and its been GOLDEN EVER SINCE. I WILL NEVER HAVE TO REPLACE MY FADER AGAIN. DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND BUY THE INNOFADER IT WILL BE THE LAST ONE YOU EVER BUY MY WORD.

It's called crossfader bleed. It's because that mixer has a contact fader.

Man, I've got same trouble with my old Omnitrinic crossfader and I'm actually switching to M2 cuz apparently crossfader has worn out and I can't replace it. I tried cleaning it up, but I didn't help. If you know how to fix this problem without replacing crossfader, let me know

American audio has one with optical Faders and is affordable. I've had mine for about 3-4 years now and Faders still run like new.

This mixer is actually pretty good. same thing happened to mine all i did was take off the top panel and blew out all the dust with an air compressor

the cross is broken - wtf dust on it if you're mixing on it!?? ... jesus ... anyhow ... next time when buying a mixer try to buy what scratch dj's are using ;) ... look-up Rane, Vestax and maybe Pioneer also ... it's your fault - those are 50$ mixers - WHAT do you expect.

You get what you pay for. Throw those decks out the window with the mixer. You say you're into scratching, buy the proper gear. Best gear for scratching. Turntables -Vestax & Numark ttX Mixers-Rane & Veatax If you can't afford to buy new gear buy used. It will save you $ in the long run. That garbage you’re using is a waste of $. It’s cheap so it breaks. Now you have to buy new gear.

@FOOTBALLFR3AK36 u can use any turntable in traktor or serato to control the timcodes all u need is a audio interface that connects the turntables and mixer to the computer.

this was not a good mixer for scratching to begin with you should have done some research before getting this mixer, this one is more for mixing, not scratching

yo wt up man. i have the turntables as you do because when i started which was 7 months like you, i wanted to get something good but yet nothing expensive. My result is.. I love my t-52 as well!! the mixer i got (also still on the budget) is the dn-x120 (denon) (I love it!!). all the problems you said is nothing to be worried about on this mixer. but dude. im curious how good you improved considering we both started at the same time.

Contact cleaner will fix that but you'll probably have to spray every single time you scratch....... but if you're in the market for a new mixer, buy a Rane TTM 56S.... the fader's magnetic so it will never, ever wear out. Of course, you'll pay ($750 new) but worth it.

my numark m2 crossfader is broken! deck 1 is feeding in to deck 2. ya it's playing opposite. (everything is hooked up correctly)

you need to get some contact cleaner from radio shack and spray some in the slot for the fader
