Why he put down first 2 dogs when they retire, 😢is that their reward for serving their country 😢and dogs doesn't live to work, you made them work, dogs wants to play and live dog life not to serve humans, most of them hate animals and don't respect anything that animals do for us. They are not commodities, they have soul and heart, and just want to live happy

I know is heartbreaking to see your baby in that condition and is life changing especially if he is learning to be a kid a second time I know is stressful but how can the mom say at 1:15 if is his time to go he can go😢like wow I know is gonna be a tough journey but you can find ways to make your baby happy I know life is not the same for him and is possible that you might outlive him but I feel like he is going to go when the time comes he wants to be with his mother and you should do your best to try to let your baby live and possibly healed

All these K-9's have served & protected the officers and the public for YEARS, risking their own lives. Many have been KIA on the police force, or injured. The PD acknowledges the K-9 "retired" (those that survive). Yet, not one single K-9 ever drew a pension. Many have been put down, for whatever reason... even department "policy". I hope & pray that someday police departments will regard their K-9s as true OFFICERS, and not some throw-away piece of equipment.

The use of shaken baby syndrome and the so called “triad” of symptoms has been completely changed because healthy infants who have had a small fall, infants who had an abnormal and stressful delivery where they became entrapped, were sunny side up or came out breech have shown the “triad”. Also, premature infants most common symptoms are the same “triad” of injury simply from being born due to their skull being softer those born vaginally are at even greater risk of brain bleed, the pressure in the brain causes retinopathy (tearing of the retina and or blood behind the retina of the eyes) and brain swelling. They have now changed shaken baby due to abuse due to the fact that simply shaking a baby has been proven time and time again to not cause the level of damage to the skull, especially in toddlers older infants as in skull fractures and fractures of other body parts, bruises and other injury. They now are trying to lean to masking a distinction between the triad symptoms that can happen from simply being born and the abuse that is obviously caused by hitting/punching/kicking/shaking and always includes an injury caused by blunt force trauma with or against a hard object. They began to study this after a family took home what appeared to be a healthy but smaller newborn, full term but the delivery was not by the book and there were complications with baby being born sunny side up. This caused pressure on her face and bruising as well as, they would three days later realize caused a fracture in her skull and a brain bleed. Thankfully, there was plenty of family there at the house during that time due to dad having to work away from home and so grandma and auntie were there to help the new mom out. Instantly in the hospital the mother kept asking the doctors and nurses why baby was not feeding well, seemed lethargic and was spitting up pretty much all of what she ate. Unfortunately all of the family’s concerns were ignored and baby and mom were sent home on day two. The night of day three grandma was holding the baby when suddenly her eyes rolled back and she began to have a violent seizure. They called 911 and rushed her to children’s where they did scans and of course first thing they did was kept the mother, grandma and aunt away from the baby, involved cps and had police standing outside the child’s picu room. The grandmother and mother as well as the aunt were stubborn though and pressed them to go speak with the nurses and to read all of the records on her birth. They also thankfully had taken several videos while still in the hospital and grandma has snuck in an audio recording of them talking with the doctor about the concerns about how baby was not feeding, was lethargic and vomiting. You could hear him brush them off as just her being a first time mother, grandma had not had children for a long time so probably just didn’t remember how much a baby can spit up and told the aunt after asking if she was a mom, which she said no, that she wouldn’t know what was normal and he was very busy and needed them to stop bothering the nurses and him about normal baby issues. Basically get used to it and he left. They were about to prove that the birth caused her skull to push into her brain causing a bleed which then caused her brain to swell this was what was causing the lethargy and vomiting and scans showed she had a small fracture in her skull on her forehead. She ended up with bleeding behind her eyes as well due to the pressure in her head. Thankfully they resolved these things within two days and the family was able to be by her side as she fought to survive. It was devastating for them though knowing they did nothing wrong but being treated like they had done horrific things to their child. It has also been shown that if an infant was to be shaken only, without blunt force trauma, that the neck of the baby would be severely damaged and in some of these cases they weren’t finding any other injuries. No bruises on the child, no hand prints, no neck injury, no broken bones anywhere else in the body so they began to study what can cause the triad of symptoms excluding any babies who had obvious traumatic blunt force injury and other obvious signs of abuse and found that a large portion of these infants were injured in the hospital during birth, some were injured by a short distance fall or simply a missed DX of hydrocephalus (less severe cases can go without notice) and or a brain infection that was missed causing pressure on the brain, leading to bleeds and eye trauma. After looking at the most common injury from being born in premature infants this also helped physicians to better understand the difference between birth or accidental trauma or missed DX trauma to the brain which can lead to the triad symptoms vs the severe injuries you see in blunt force traumatic abuse sbs. I watched an entire documentary on the different studies hospitals like the Mayo Clinic and several highly accredited children’s hospitals with the highest level NICU/PICU’s have done to be able to sort out weather or not there was abuse or there was something else that happened either through birth, an accidental injury or simply a doctor being in too much of a hurry to catch an illness or condition which later caused symptoms that could be misdiagnosed as sbs. I tell so sad for the children who have been abused in such a horrific way simply because the adult they were supposed to be able to trust with their lives was “angry”. It breaks my heart! It also breaks my heart to see families who have been wrongfully accused of these things when a doctor made a mistake or missed something or baby learned to roll and fell and was injured before they thought baby was even old enough to try to do so. Or big sis or big brother tried to pick up the baby and fell. I’ve seen and met so many different families and seen the heartbreaking things that can happen purely accidental as well as the devastation of the evil that some adults possess. How anyone can look at the precious little face of their own child! ANY CHILD ! Yours or not! And cause such harm I’ll never understand! I just thought I would share that info because I found it interesting that there are many parents and I’ve met personally parents who did not harm their baby and went through absolute hell until doctors started to put together that there had to be a multitude of other very specific injuries to a child to confirm abuse vs something else. I hope very much for peace and healing for every little one who struggles through the consequences of the actions of the adults who should have cared for them. Who should have walked away after placing them in a safe spot. Who should have called someone for help! There’s no excuse for harming an innocent baby/child. I also feel horribly sad and hope for the same healing and peace for those families who have children who were harmed by their deliveries, who were not listened to when they noticed there was something wrong with their baby. I know a mom who’s twin died of an undiagnosed heart condition and they then took her surviving twin saying she killed her son. It was 3 months of hell for them and the only reason they got their surviving son back was he nearly died while in state custody and was found to have a genetic heart condition, his twin brother was exhumed and they found he also had the same GENETIC heart condition. The boys spent two months in NICU after being born prematurely and nobody DX’d them ! Nobody noticed their hearts were not working properly and sent them home. It was so devastating for her as a mom to be grieving the loss of her son who technically died in her arms, she did cpr and they put him on life support but pushed them to pull the plug over actually having him life flighted to a hospital with an actual picu then they took their surviving twin son from her arms and would not even let her see him until he was life flighted to the hospital her other son should have been taken to and they finally admitted there was nothing she did wrong. She was given custody back of her son but she told me she felt crushed. Her heart was shattered over the loss of her son so died and they took 3 months of bonding and being with her surviving son and it nearly broke her. They do make mistakes and I’m glad they are finally recognizing that not every baby with only the triad and no other injury to them is another abuse case and they are now recognizing and actually ensuring the safety and health of infants prior to sending them home, taking parents concerns more seriously etc. not every hospital unfortunately but more and more are now and I’m truly hoping this helps to weed out the actual abuse cases from the birth injury/birth defect/genetic disorders/accidental injury cases. Much love to everyone and I truly send all the hope and love to all the families who have been so devastatingly impacted by abusive angry adults who didn’t take a moment to walk away and get it together or just simply admit they could not handle being alone with their baby. It isn’t shameful to admit you need help.
