The "we should go out" or "what about a coffee together" is pretty good. I always went out with girls who gave me a clear hint or asked me out on a date. Clear communication, clear intentions and being playful/flirty helps a lot.

Play around the topic of relationships or even the idea of sharing interests like movies or games or other hobbies. You’re not testing them, you’re not playing games, you’re not just dropping hints; you’re making it obvious that you’re into them, but you’re also not just saying “hey baby wanna come back to my place and smash”. I was just thinking the other day I wished schools taught or at least gave the first steps about dating or just talking with the opposite sex ,so much stuff is left out to interpretation and "feeling" but that leaves out so many neurodivergent people out or typical people who don't get it or are not interested at that point to date or talk but nevertheless are inveitably gonna use the skills in the future or even if they don't they wil atleast understand what people who do are doing.
