Funny how high profile, high risk escorts have a big song and dance around them. Stick them in a plain van and shift them in the early hours when everbodies asleep. Much less drama, and you’d likley see any ambush coming easily.

Does anyone know why they have two police cars directly in front and behind the truck with the prisoners driving so super close to the truck? Seems pretty risky to me, one little mishap, slipping off the gas or even a prisoner doing something in the truck would cause not only the truck to swerve around a bit or accelerate/decelerate but also possibly crash into the police cars. I don't see the benefit of not keeping 2-3 meters more distance, it's not like they would lose the truck in traffic or something if they stay away a bit more. I've seen this in a couple of videos like this one, some even more extreme, so it got me thinking.
