Took some time to "find" the Lady with her very good voice.....:-)))) Did not expect her near the piano. She deserves a place in front of the band.

"Long Gone Blues." Credited to Billie Holiday and Tab Smith. First recorded by Billie Holiday & Orch. 1939. I imagine the arrangement of the first chorus was done by Tab Smith.

What a superb big band/orchestra! Great vocals by Mauro and Mike. Where else in the world would you find classic jazz recreated like this? It's what makes Whitley Bay Classic Jazz Party so special. And it's even better when you are there to see and hear it live. Can't wait to be there again.

Thanks Hakan! This is fantastic, especially the very hot version of Tiger Rag. It was even hotter for sousaphone player Richard Pite. I have never seen anyone so fired up when playing a brass instrument! It was indeed very appropriate for a gig on November 5 - Guy Fawkes night.

Kommunister(Täppas) är alltid generösa med andras pengar, dessutom har de alltid hur mycket som helst. Kan det vara därför ALLA länder som lider av socialism /kommunism låter sitt folk svälta ihjäl, samtidigt som "eliten" äter rysk kaviar och oxfilé?!?
