2013 Paul Burnett-Kirk 80th Birtday Celebrations
I was commissioned in 2013 to make a film for PAUL of his 80th Birthday Party held in Littlehampton on 28 September 2013 which would be a testament for his family. It was a pleasure to hear and record his story surrounded by his family friends and fellow musicians.

Another film from my Archives which features the complete filming in Oct 2013 of the John Stapleton Band at the Tanners Arms near Horsham UK. An original 6 minute B&W promo was made of the evening and uploaded to UA-cam in April 2014 ua-cam.com/video/eDpE_v_2LtI/v-deo.html I have re colour coded the film except for the opening sequence.

Arun Valley All stars 2015 HENTY ARMS

The Henty Arms, Ferring, West Sussex holds its annual Beer Festival over the end of July weekend and in 2015 saw the return of the Arun Valley All Stars led by drummer, Martin Black, a local resident of Ferring.. sadly I believe this was there last year at the Henty but they continue to perform locally every so often.(2024)

Enrico Tomasso was commissioned to play at the wake of his late friend and jazz enthusiast John Whitehorn from Rainham Kent. Along with some great musicians this was a fitting tribute to those who knew John and the show features tributes from many of those present.

Went to Saltdean the year before it was closed - it was rather rundown. There was a fire alarm during the night and we all had to turn out in the rain. Shocking sound system even made Sonny Morris Delta sound bad !!!!

Thanks for the names of the band members. Yes what a fun band that I always made a point of seeing at least once a year since the late sixties when I first saw them in Teddington. Quality may not be up to high end as filmed in analogue back in those days but better out there than in my archives!
@@TheHojoman you've seen all the cast changes since about 1968 then (there really needs to be a proper wiki page on this band, I'm trying to do a 'genome' project on all the band members timeline (spare time with no gigs) great to correspond with another bob kerr fan, do you have any more of theirs?
@@sebastiantuck5484 Great concept and I wish you well with it. Have you ever tried contacting Captain Kerr himself as no doubt he could have much input and I believe at one time there was a fanzine issued. Not sure if I have any of this material stacked away in my archives but will look. I do have 3 original VHS tapes produced by the band which possibly are already on youtube plus my own video segment of Hokum with Bill Chambers part of the band. As to other videos, I'm not so sure as I filmed a lot of the UK Jazz festivals over the years and there maybe some footage lurking amongst this! I must spend some time during this third lockdown to search it out! I can let you have details of the band members on those commercial videos if you contact me on hojo_uk_2000@yahoo.co.uk
