Working with sheet goods such as plywood and particle board require and edge band to cover the raw edges. There are methods ranging from using a household iron to commercial machines costing over a hundred thousand dollars. Just bought one of these edge banders. I'm having a challenge getting the set-up correct, so the banding doesn't creep up as the shelf passes through. I am a little confused about your description of how you used your shims. Wouldn't placing them at the inside edge of the table actually make the angle >90? Thanks in advance for any help with my setup.

I just got one and am having the same issue. Did you figure out any tips to line up the feeder ramps? There’s literally no information about this thing!

Great video, man! About to pick one of these up since I'm building a whole kitchen worth of cabinets with slab doors, so I've got a lot of edge banding ahead of me. Great tips and tricks here.

Curious if you have plans or sketches that you would be willing to share or email? I realize this is an old post but it’s one of the best I’ve found. I am hoping to replicate your design with cedar so this was extremely helpful. Thanks for sharing the video!

I am interested in learning how to build doors using cope and stick joinery. Should I just buy a cheap set of router bits and learn with them? Some are ~$50.00 while most name brands are >$100.00.

Hi David Very informative video, thank you. Just a few tips: you could make speech volume a bit louder and have some closeups incorporated. With these, yours would easily compare to some of the "big woodworker's"' videos.

Hi , may I say a great explanation video , may I ask a few questions, the bench spikes are home made or were to buy? The bandsaw is a 3/4 motor on a delta riser block bandsaw which allows how much cutting height,? And what type of glue did you use for joining the timber joints . Great video

    • @griznleeproductions7497

Tom Thumb Glad you enjoyed the video! The pinch dogs were purchased from Woodcraft www.woodcraft.com/products/2-pinch-dog. My band saw with the riser block gives me a 12" high cutting capacity. I don't use 12" very often but I do cut 8" tall material quite often. As for the glue I used Titebond 3 because it is a medium brown color that blends well with the cherry. Hope these answers help.
