@@wildseacalligraphy8319 I believe this is due to my practice on school, when I was a child. Trying to save money, they teach us to write with very hard pencils. It trains us to use too much strength on writing. Now I want to UNLEARN that.

I don't actually know for a parallel pen, perhaps using a watercolor or gouache might be better x
Awesome! I had a few bottles of acrylic, and wanted some custom ink colors, this really helped!
I made my own ink using some gum arabic, watercolor, water, and some gold acrylic and it works wonder even with fountain pen. And the best thing there was no bleeding even on the cheapest paper.

Could you show any pic, Doesn't it dry out in your fountain pen?
@@Supportoffice-p8v If it's a cheap fountain pen, you can add and try with ink that has acrylic paint in it. But it may clog or damage your pen.
@@paulojorgedocarmodacostate1664 It took me several tries. If it bleeds add more gum arabic, if the color is too light add more pigment (watercolor or acrylic, your choice). Add, mix, then test on a piece of paper. If something isn't according to you, add whatever is the requirement.
Hello and very Good Morning!! I am so happy that I found your channel and the video too. You have made a very nice video showing the differences. But I have a little doubt again, about which of the three that you have mentioned, ie. acrylic, water colour and gouache can 1. give out fines lines in Calligraphy. 2. Which dries faster and 3. why everyone without even a second thought say "gouache" when asked for Coloured calligraphy. Please help me out. I have seen your amazon page., you have quite a collection there.
Hey, I'm so pleased you found the video helpful. I personally prefer using Schmincke Calligraphy Gouache, I find I can get lovely hairlines and it dries so well, I only really use acrylic if I'm doing envelope calligraphy. I'm unsure what you mean by your third point can you let me know? x
