Had this version on an album called Mad About Piano when I was a kid. When I finally got a hold of the sheet music I was bummed that this wasn’t written out, but I eventually just copied his version! Brought a whole new life to the B section

It's sounding splendid! The climatic swell, the dynamics in the template was great. Bagpipes could be pushed back and more verb/space, certain notes definitely hit hard and upfront like the "E" 1:15-1:16ish you can hear it pierce. Not sure if you were focusing on mixing the bagpipes per the title of your video, but thought I mention it as it was sticking out. Cheers!

That was really interesting , it’s not common to see someone that shares unsuccessful stories. I guess that’s the difference between hobbyist vs pro if the industry. You can spit out enough music per day so you don’t get emotionally attach to it. Amazing!

Fantastic mock-up. You really nailed that dark tone that you were going for. I think this is one of the best examples of Pacific strings usage that I've heard, too. They do this dark brooding mood very well with the boost you gave them for volume. Tristan and Isolde is criminally underplayed. I was fortunate enough to have gotten to play some selections from it when I was still in grade school, in an advanced youth orchestra.
