Cortex has the best dialogues (though honestly he's the only one who ever talks, other characters either don't talk at all or have very few lines), I never cared about him but this game alone turned him into one of my favorites in the franchise. The way he says things like "Between the 9th and 11th dimensions we'll find1 the mysterious 10th dimension!" like that needed a explanation, or "Come now, as we explore A NEW DIMENSION! ...there should've been two other dimensions but we ran out of time..." to reference that development was rushed and had to cut a lot of content, or his flashback about his parrots where everything he says is contradicted by the same flashback he's explaining, and my favorite "My daughte- erhhh- Niece!" the plot thickens and I don't think we ever get clear answers.
