That kit... FOR BEGINNERS... tells you to start with a magic circle? That's the STOOPIDEST thing.... Magic circles can be awkward for experienced crocheters, let alone someone who's never done it before. They should have started with a chain, joined in the round, FAR easier for a beginner to get the hang of! (yes, it would have a left a little hole at the bottom, but nothing a bit of weaving in ends after the piece was done couldn't fix. You had a lot more patience than some beginners who would have just given it up before you even got to level 2, let alone level 3, and make them swear never to try crochet again - and that's SUCH a huge shame. You did VERY well, and your axolotl turned out super cute!

I'm 21 and i still haven't figured out the basics. I feel always confused and left behind. I think it's the comparison i do between my life and others and sometimes (or most of the time) i forgot that we only get glimps of others life, not whole and i don't see their struggles or the problems they must be facing. Sometime, i say or believe I'm envious of those who are doing something in life but i read this somewhere that most of the people don't know what are they even doing. I still believe it's better than nothing, at least. Since pandemic, everything seems to fast-paced which kinda makes me feel left behind, that Im doing nothing in my life. That's what makes me guilty. Idk if I'm making any sense or not. I'm also in my quarter life crisis and it just sucks to be this confused and lost.
