Is there a way for me to remove the refrigerant without bringing it to a certified mechanic? I have to replace the compressor. The job looks easy enough but I'm not sure about that part of the job. I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a shop that will handle only that for me.

may i suggest investing in a pump for cooling systems, that way you can check for leaks before you reassemble everything

If yall are finding out that this ski is burning up carbon seals really quickly.....there is a special alignment tool that is required when you pull the engine out to get the jet pump shaft pefectly aligned with the motor.

It's easier to mix the baking soda with water to clean up the corrosion and I use the felt ring pads with an anti corrosion chemical that I buy from Walmart other wise great job Tyler.

I like to spray crc battery terminal protector on the terminala. One cans lasted me years and it works well. Nice job Tyler.

They used to make conversion kits for putting small block Chevys in the Jag because the V 12 was so bad. Some Jags have GM hydromatics. Don't know if those conversion kits are still available.
