Honestly guys I'm just posting whatever makes me happy. Definitely in the "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks" phase. We are purely chasing dopamine here. If that sounds like a good time to you come along for the ride. Let's see where it takes us.
Full Story of a Sculpture (Shorts Movie)
Well it took me two months but it's finally done. I'm really happy with how it came out and wanted to put everything into one concise place. It was a lot of work and I'm really proud of the sculpture and the videos. I know my quality could be better but it's really cool to the whole thing come together. It was a lot of work filming this process but I'm so happy that I did. If you can get through watching a vertical video in a horizontal format thanks. I hope you enjoy.

Pokemon Emerald: Battle Frontier's Weirdest Challenge
I had way too much fun editing this. (Or re-editing it technically.)
I didn't know u could do that thanks for helping me out ❤😮😅
Yeah you can propagate most plants. Just make sure you look up how to for all of them.
Glad it helped!😂
No plant math is, gifting a plant and getting 3-8 more to replace the one! I was told it’s like chicken math😂😂😂
I can't believe it happened twice. 😅
Question; When designing and building this project. After your professor changed it up on you, was the vision you had match the final project? Was it exactly or did it change completely or slightly different from your vision. Secondly, what were the happiest or highlights of making this and what were your moments you wanted to just give up cry and say you were done. I know everyone has moments like this. And last what made this project mean more to than you thought it would. Just wanted to know.
I think to some extent it come out better than I expected. The way the glaze ran just worked out really well. It doesn't necessarily fit my original vision because of that but the vibe is there. And the shape is exactly what I was going for. I actually found a sketch that I forgot I made that looks almost exactly like how it turned out. And the hardest part was definitely just the time constrained on building it. The university cut our studio hours and I was going out of town. I was really worried about timelines and if it was going to fall apart. Definitely had a "couldn't see the forest for the trees moment." But obviously it was fine. Highlights have got to be the luster, sharing it with you guys and the really wonderful feedback, and actually accomplishing the goal of bridging my two majors. And honestly throwing the giant bowls that made it too. I really pushed myself on a couple of different levels with this one and that's pretty satisfying.
Sorry, nothing like a great relaxing vacation to start the new year is why yo haven't heard from me in a while. I hope you're semester ended on a highnote and the holidays were great for you. Great music to go through all the steps of this project. This is truly one of my favorites you've done. My offstill stands when you're ready to sell it if you like.
I appreciate the offer! I think I'm going to need to hold on to this one for a little while at least for my portfolio. But one of my goals for this year is to open up some kind of online shop. I might take a couple of commissions. I'll definitely make an announcement if/when I actually do it.
I love your cat! He is so big and fluffy. I love how he just chills. Not a worry in life
He's definitely a mamas boy that's for sure. I didn't actually catch it on camera but he crawls on my shoulders. I actually don't have much of a choice in the. 😂
Painting is an inspiration of yourself. I never rush painting and never be afraid to just paint over parts that you don't feel it being right. Experiment with colors you can always change it up its what you feel in the painting. If it takes anther fours years to complete so be it
Well I definitely can't say I rushed it. 😂
Its a great start to a painting , its not going back to it when you're better at it But more like you have to feel it to work on it that's what give the painting it meaning and soul. Never rush painting.
Great end of semester recap on your class and projects. Glad you had fun and enjoyed learning ceramics nd and keep on going with it you truly have a talent for clay
You can use a spray bottle and lightly spray it and put in the refrigerator to rehydrate it
For being a professor. he has some kindergarten handwriting. Lol! Congratulations on your piece being selected. He chose a great piece. It Look s great in it final color
Exact how i feel every week. And so true 90% of the time it gets pushed bacl for another day. At first i thought you were playing rock, paper, scissors to see if you're cleaning the room or not? Let me know when it gets done
You can believe what you want. It doesn't change the person you are. People will always judge people for whom their different from. Science is showing a different view on how or what makes existence in this world. So I can understand. You are you and I am me. So to judge or think differently of you for saying what you believe doesn't matter. Example: There is religuis, Christmas, and commercial Christmas. Most people believe in one or the other. People celebrate it in different ways some like a birthday and others the bible way. Your videos are great i believe its because of the holidays i haven't replied for about three weeks because of not being around my phone and taking time to myself and vacationing. Stay strong and keep making videos
I do remember this piece it came out great in the end. The color works great on there simple but right on. I believe i said to make it all crazy colored?
This piece came out beautiful in the end. Which ever name you give both describes your piece dead on.
that’s insane!! absolutely stunning work

Hi ❤
Awwww ❤
Omg 😂
Meeooowww 😂
Sorry about the weird ratio. I was filming that horizontal and I couldn't crop it in a way that didn't just ruin the video.
Can't believe it's been.. gulp ... 4+ years ..
Happy new year! Part 2 in the clicky thingy. 🙃
I really like this trend. Decided to do it with my art projects this semester. ❤
Oh the algorithm.
Don't know if this works on bone dry clay but it definitely works on leather hard.
Good to know
Lol
Fun fact... I filmed this... And then didn't actually clean. 😂
Lololol
I often hear nihilism as a description put on others and less a belief system people claim themselves, so it's interesting to hear you self describe as a nihilist. I understand what it means to be atheist- but what does it mean to you to hold a nihilist set of beliefs for you?
That's a good point. I don't think nihilism really counts as a set of beliefs, honestly neither does atheism. it's more of a lack of belief. What I mean when I say I'm a nihilist I tend to agree with the idea that the universe itself doesn't have like a purpose. And that's really scary to a lot of people. But there's a whole school of belief that it's a very freeing thought. Basically you can make whatever purpose you want out of the world and out of your life. You have free will and it's your choices that really matter.
Reminds me of existentialism/absurdism way of looking at things.@@AshleeKnowsNot
May God bless you 😊❤
❤️❤️❤️
Lmao she don’t believe in God, how can she be blessed by someone she don’t believe in. The hearting of the comment by the creator of the video makes it even more ironic
Contemplate the fact that you don’t believe in God yet you’re making art. 😂 baby girl you are God 🫶 it’s okay to have your own idea of what that means to you.
What do I mean by that? Just curious
❤️ I can appreciate that perspective! Hope you have a great day! ❤️
Eternally grateful for people like you! Hope the algorithm boost your reach!
Thanks that means a lot ❤️
I’m glad you shared this! Honestly being more real about who you are will probably draw your audience in, and bring the right kind of people too.
Ty! Did you recommend that I name it contemplation? Because if so it really grew on me.
@ yeah, I’m glad u liked it!
Cool art but I do have to say morality is not subjective because if it was there would be no right or wrong. Someone could r*pe people or maybe be involved in inc*st and could say it feels right to them. If morals are subjective then if enough people say it then would that make it morally right to commit those acts? You couldn’t say it is not moral because at that point it’s your opinions theirs.
Sounds fine to me. Believe what you want. However I do specifically want to say I like the world turtle part of the piece most
Thank you! I was really trying to evoke like religious symbolism. That's why the figure is gold (that's a pretty common early Christian thing). And I've always loved the imagery behind the world turtle. And it's fascinating how many cultures have something similar.
@AshleeKnowsNot I'm not very religious but I know about random things like that. Just thought it was cool. Have a great day darlin
Don't feel bad for holding on to reality.
Lol. Hard to do sometimes.
Sounds like you're sane to me.
Lol. I hope so 😂
I'm not going to lie I'm really nervous to share this. It feels important.... like I should say what the meaning behind this sculpture is but also I'm worried people will take it the wrong way. If anyone has any thoughts I would love to hear them. ❤ And I just want to make it very clear I think being a good person is really important. And specifically that religion can really skew our perspective of what it means to be moral. I think this is most obvious when it comes to like queer communities and how they're affected by religious doctrine.
Lester... 😂
How do you loose parts of a Sculpture 😂
Lol 😂
That is a great question 😂
Cool!!
Finally giving an update on something else 😂
I love contemplation. IMO it invites the viewer to imagine themselves as the contemplator.
That's a really good point!
I'm really happy with how it finally turned out!
I hope you guys like this video. Im actually really proud of it. I know there are alot of things I could have done differently but over all I'm really happy with how it turned out. (I even got copyright free music which made me feel like a real UA-camr. 😂)
You should do another questions and answer video on this project and anything else people want to ask you? Just a thought
I'll think about it! I just did a longer video of this whole project. It's got some extra content and stuff. So if you have any questions I might answer them there!
Such a wonderful and beautiful piece ot art you have made. To see the final piece with all the little parts together, you finally see it in all it glory. Wonderful job and a great work on your videos of the different stages and setbacks of your journey through your ceramics. Great job, and love this piece!
Thank you!! Im pretty happy with how it all eventually came together.
Cool.
