Ja, es war eine gute Idee, aber 1962 viel zu früh und auch viel zu teuer: 100.000 DM kostete das Auto damals, soviel wie 20 VW Käfer und schwimmen darf man heute auch nur dann, wenn in Ö die Wasserwacht bereitsteht, bzw in D, wenn man auch einen Bootsschein hat...

@@1001vintagecars ja, sehr viel Geld aber so wie es aussieht, hat es sich gelohnt. Bei mir dauert es noch. Mit einer Scheidung und zwei Kinder...

@@heikowagner9528 auch ich kenne dieses Auto leider nur als Zuschauer, die 100.000 hätten aber seit 1962 definitiv den Wert erhalten, besser als jedes Sparbuch !

​@@1001vintagecarsDas mit den 100.000 DM ist etwas übertrieben. Originalzitat Wikipedia: In Deutschland war das Fahrzeug ab 1962 zum Preis von 10.500 DM erhältlich (nach heutiger Kaufkraft und inflationsbereinigt 27.164 Euro).

@@svenweissbrodt3551 Es könnte auch sein, dass die 100000 DM die Erzeugungs- kosten waren und dass solch ein Preis damals nicht zu erzielen war, und deshalb hat man es schnell wieder aufgegeben !

Man gönnt sich ja sonst nix ! ;)

NO ! The sound is ORIGINAL at the 1scene and again at the last scene ! for the other scenes I took the sound of the first scene again, because there was too much wind and useless talking otherwise. Other people place music there and I took the ORIGINAL engine sound of THIS VERY CAR Benz 1894 !

There were only 4 original Bugatti 57SC Atlantic built in the 1930s by Jean Bugatt and only 2 originals still exist. The price was 160000FF instead of 80000FF for the ordinary B 57 cars, so many people made cheaper copies of the Atlantic-body on an original B57 chassis. This car has an original engine with compressor, I was told !

Ettore Bugatti founded the car-production in 1910 and his most famous cars were the Bugatti 35 and the Royale, while his son Jean Bugatti designed the type 57 ! He died in a car accident in the age of 30years.
