How many times does this have to be said before it sinks into peoples thick sculls, men are avoiding marriage because they don’t want to get taken to the cleaners in divorce court, lose the kids or the house and only be allowed to see them every other weekend or be blocked from seeing them all together by being falsely accused of abuse without evidence, the legal and financial risks are not worth the pain and hurt of having their lives and reputation wrongfully ruined People want men to not be afraid of marriage, how about getting rid of no fault divorce witch allows the wife to cheat on her husband, divorce him for no reason and still get half or more the assets and custody of the kids with the husband more often then not pay the legal fees for both his and her attorneys, regardless if she’s the breadwinner or not, have automatically by default who ever is proven at fault lose all the assets, pay all the debts, lose both legal and physical custody of the kids, give the non custodial parent default open visitation and parenting time except in cases where abuse, drug addiction, alcohol addiction has been proven or they got felony conviction, cap child support at 1000 a month per child and alimony at 1000 a month for Length of the marriage, calculate alimony and child support as a fixed dollar amount instead of percentage of the payers income to prevent greedy exes from abusing the system and only allow alimony and child support to be spent on food, water, clothing, housing transportation and healthcare over all, ban family courts from issuing protection orders or restraining orders without proof beyond a reasonable doubt, have the at fault spouse pay all the legal expenses, forfeit alimony if the lower earning spouse is proven at fault, hold family courts to the Same standards as civil courts, make Paternity test mandatory for all babies born for both unmarried fathers and married fathers alike, ban the mothers from listing a man as the father without a paternity test and without his knowledge or consent regardless of whether he’s married to the mother of his child or not, ban employers from firing employees except on the grounds of shitty job performance, criminal conviction or going out of business, make hiring mandatory for full time employees unless they’re going out of business, jack the minimum wage up to 32 an hour and automatically index it to inflation, productivity, cost of living and price increases, ban all workplace automation except for human assisted workplace automation, require employers to hire and promote employees based solely on merit, skills, qualifications and work experience, ban police from arresting anyone without rock solid incontrovertible evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that they committed the crime their being accused of, grant anonymity to the accused until they’ve been convicted, bar anyone except the victim, the accused, the victims family, the police and the local DA, the county sheriff or the state or federal AG or the FBI from knowing about the crime until the accused has been convicted, require equal sentencing for both men and women (no more of this bullshit were a women gets a slap on the wrist’s and a man get the book thrown at them) and throw false accusers and paternity fraudsters in prison for life and throw away the key

I'm 31 and 5'8 tall. Have never had a girlfriend. It's a really awkward height because you're tall enough where no one feel's sorry enough to give you a chance, but you're not tall enough to be seen as ''regular/ normal'' I think height is just one aspect of the struggle, you really have to be in the goldilocks zone of being around 6ft tall, educated, high-income earner, independent, not to much/ not to little amount of body hair, well groomed and well styled, politically agreeable, have hobbies and a strong friendship group etc. I don't have that stuff. If I don't have anyone inspiring me to do better I simply wont. Women, despite often themselves being underdeveloped as adults, don't have time for a ''project'' boyfriend. They have like 15 years to work through a rugby team's worth of men in order to find a suitable breeding match before their eggs are low-viability and they can't make babies. Such is life.

I find shorter men are more serious, driven, and loyal. Not sure why and I’m sure some tall men are this way but shorter men just seem way more in their masculine energy to me.

Honestly Americans are obsessed with height. Possibly because of your strong sense of loving sports like basketball. I live in the UK. Lots of shorter guys in relationships over here.

They are working with some stats from 1970. The average height man is not 5 foot 8 and and the average woman is not 5 foot 2 to 5 foot three. In the USA today, those averages are closer to 5 foot 10 and 5 foot 5. This is why the guy is having such difficult difficulties at 5 foot six. Because the majority of women are not even interested in dating a man of average height, much less 4 inches below average height. FACTS

However, the speaker on the left contradicted herself as I was about to type this; she acknowledges that a very short woman can still have a height requirement well above her own height. Accept it or not, dating is a competition. In this competition, you are most certainly being judged against other potential romantic interests. For women, height is most certainly a weighted requirement.

Im 5'6' bald virgin who never even kissed a woman, I'm not ashamed of being short but its just the impossible levels of compensation it has to take for women to find me attractive is daunting. I am short (approximately five feet and five inches tall), and I wish I was slightly shorter by a few inches. I have liked and still like girls who are shorter than me and who are exactly my height, but not because I am taller, it has to do with their external beauty, and body shape, and what they are wearing. I was born heterosexual, and choose to remain heterosexual, so beauty and fashion are huge factors for me. That said, I prefer girls who are taller than me because I can barely take care of myself, and I want to be with a girl who can take care of me not only physically in some ways, but also emotionally. I am feminine in that I am very emotional and dramatic, and I do not say that as a bad thing. The Lord God made me the way I am for a reason. I have no problem at all with a girl wearing high heels even if she is already taller than me. I prefer another kind of shoe, and that has nothing to do with how taller that makes the girl look; it has to do with something I have thought about since I was very young that is too personal to share online. What matters more to me than how tall or how short a girl is is she a Christian, and her personality, and her political views, and tastes in food, and music, and bookes, and movies. I am short, and I wish I was a few inches shorter. I prefer courting a girl who is taller than me, provided she is a strong Christian and is more emotionally, and physically, and spiritually mature than I am, and can hold me close and not feel like I am crushing her, and who does not want children. I love kids, but I am like a boy myself in some ways, and do not have the temperament necessary to deal with misbehaving children. The ways in which I am like a small boy are no let to my life, or living in the real world. That being said, I have no problem liking a girl who is either shorter than me or who is exactly my height.
