Logitech G915 TKL Review: ua-cam.com/video/jRl9ypYUCsc/v-deo.html
To summarise:
Positives:
- Varied and quite extensive connectivity options (especially on RK84), to suit most needs.
- Nice, solid build.
- Lighting is very nice, with plenty of modes (including great reactive modes!), straight-forward controls and no need to use software.
- Have had no problems with connectivity or key functions on PC or iPad.
- Come in a variety of switches and these (as well as keys) can be swapped out / customised.
- Great value - best for the price by quite a long shot, as far as I can see, and beats the much more expensive Logitech G915 TKL in my opinion.
- USB-C connection for charging and connecting.
- The USB pass-through ports on the RK84 are a useful addition; I use one to charge my mouse.
Negatives:
- Keys are a bit high and narrow, making them a bit harder to hit accurately. Takes some getting used to.
- I’m not a fan of the texture of the keys, which is a bit scratchy.
- Lack ability to make custom keyboard shortcuts on iPad or PS5 - probably not specific to Royal Kludge keyboards, though.
- Sink87G lacks the very useful Bluetooth connectivity of the other two models.
- RK68 button combinations due to loss of top line are annoyingly over-complicated.
- The magnetic feet on the RK84 are not ideal - flip-out feet would have been better.
Overall rating:
- 5/5; the slight and often model-specific negatives on these keyboards do very little to detract from just how brilliant they are in both looks and utility. I highly recommend these and think there is really something for everyone here, with customisation options guaranteeing this even further.

Thanks for the review - I'm thinking about getting one and debating what size, can I ask what your measurements are that made you go with the M/L size?
That model is an homage to a company called Bovet that manufacturers pocket watch style pieces on a strap..which shows how modern watches went from pocket to being on the wrist. The need for this beginning during the Great WWI. ua-cam.com/video/Actr_6GMxSY/v-deo.htmlsi=zZyClCsJvvgLnQU5
Thanks
Mine was getting loose. Take the cards out, and gently bend the two sides back towards each other. Cards are nice and tight again.
Hi ,how much does your jacket with vest and fur weight exactly?
2:35 you could say they've lost they're touch 😉 😂
I just got it a few days ago for 280€. It's a very heavy jacket with thick leather. Size L for me but I could have gone for the XL. 5'7, 42 inch chest, bodybuilder.
How long have you owned this? I heard its not that good quality and it's some Chinese brand/manufacturer type ordeal
Apologies for the very late reply. I’ve actually had it for maybe 5 years and though it goes dead when not used, it works fine once wound again, surprisingly.
@@ricoreviews4468 Like all automatic watches that contain a mainspring that can be wound manually or by the oscillation of a rotor on this model. When the mainspring is fully wound it has a power reserve that will last until the mainspring is fully unwound. I have a number of Stuhrling Original models including this one and though they are made in HK China they are quality for the money
The models with the LC logo are made in Asia by Schott Europe (based in France) and they are made from very poor quality leather which does not last over time... And I'm not talking about random cuts... Schott USA should stop to degrade its image in this way.
What's your evidence that the quality is as poor as you say it is? Do you own one?
Bullshit. Quality is great I own two lc jacket.
@@TheWoWBane I had several, I sold them all.
May i ask how did you pair your g915 to ur ipad? I tried with my g913 but it didn’t show on my ipad pro Bluetooth devices list.
Honestly it’s been a while so I can’t remember that well. I think it just showed up there though. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
I have a problem, which is when I connect the mic to the iPad and record a clip in the Snapchat or Tik Tok application, the sound is weak
Sorry, I never used it with either of these apps and returned it a long time ago, so I can’t really comment on this. The sound was relatively low on the video editing app I used, though (in comparison to the built-in mic) and I had to use controls in the app to increase it.
ua-cam.com/video/bnN2AldnNTk/v-deo.html Schott (MADE IN USA) real quality is here.
Cheap Leather for shit jacket.
They need to make it with a thick fleece lining and it would be perfect
To be honest I like that it’s not too thick, as it provides a bridge in cold but not freezing temperatures, and you can decide if you want to wear a beanie on top. I have a couple of thermal fleece balaclavas I got from mountain warehouse for days when it is really freezing outside.
Did it fog up your sun glasses when wearing it? I need something that doesn’t fog up glasses when wearing it. I haven’t found anything yet 😩
I’m afraid they would, as the hot air will still get trapped and go onto them. I don’t think there is really any way around this, unfortunately…
For the lack of internal pocket problem, go to a tailor you trust, have them sewn 2 leather pockets on the inside of the hand pockets. now you have 2 hand pockets. and 2 more pockets on the inside that you have access to when you unzipped.
That’s a good idea, may well look into it. Still, it’s better for it to be done by the company and I’d also worry that it would add additional bulk, whereas a pocket around the chest is ideal in terms of keeping the jacket’s profile even when filled.
If you were able to purchase these gloves for $50, what rating would you give them?
Sorry for the delay; my internet seems to have cut out when I tried to reply before. I think at that price I’d give them a 5/5, unless I wanted to use them for extremely low temperatures.
Thanks for review Rico. This video helped me decide to buy a one. I have their best selling B-15. So far, so good. My major critique is BH comes with huge cuff openings. At first I thought it might just be my particular jacket or the B-15 design. But after seeing your video it seems huge cuffs that don’t hug the wrists are intentional. I don’t understand the logic since shearling is worn in the winter. Loose cuffs can mean cold winds blown up into your arms. Overall happy with the BH B-15. Shearling gives adequate insulation. You can get away with wearing nothing but a tshirt underneath. No sweater jumper required for those of us in climates with moderate winters BH positions itself as a luxury brand. I see them as a value brand too. reasonable prices for the quality and degree of customization you get
are you able to connect mouse with the keyboard or is it only one or the other ?
Apologies for the delay, I hope you found an answer to your question but I’m not sure what you mean? You can connect a mouse separately…
The real 184sm which this one is based on is around €1200
Hi, thank you for the review! I'm on my way to buy one coat frop blake. Can you tell me if your jacket has a straight or curly finish on the whool? Is the wool really soft of a little bit scratchy?
My pleasure :-). Mine has the straight finish, with really soft wool. I’d really recommend it, as it makes it feel a lot more cosy!
@@ricoreviews4468 thanks a lot for your response! I think we have a close personality as me to I look to very small details ;) At blake they told me curly finish is whiter (don’t really like the yellowish champagne color), but I am definitely looking for a very soft and thick wool. How did you choose between straight and curly, do you know what are the differences between the two option? I m looking for the archer bournville model. Thanks to your video it convinced me to consider this model as the picture in their website shows a very yellow wool compared to your video which has a really nice white cream looking. Considering regis an archer are made of the same skin description, it helped me. Btw do you have anything to say after wearing it for few months now? You mentioned you were going to make a video of the coat after several months of usage. Last question, would you agree to make a short video of the coat in a “daylight and shadow outside” environment as in this video electric light doesn’t really shows the right color of the coat. You said it was a washed brown when willing a deep brown, which is also my case. Don’t want to be deceived… Thanks a lot in advance!!
@@mehdiflayelle hello again. Yes, I am very much an ‘attention to detail’ kind of guy! In terms of how I chose, I just asked which was softer and they told me that the straight one was, so I went with that. I really wanted a soft shearling feel, not that scratchy stuff which to me feels cheaper and poorer quality. I also went with this model because the way it opens and closes puts more of the shearling itself on show, which I think looks really cool. In terms of the colours, the fur is in my opinion more of a white-grey colour than white-yellow. So I wouldn’t worry about it being too yellow. In terms of the coat colour, it has since grown on me even more and I really like it now. The washed-out feel of the brown sheepskin doesn’t seem to be present anymore but I’m not 100% sure if that’s my perception or a change after having worn it. They did also say when I emailed them that there is sometimes variation between jackets even of the same type and colour, due to the natural variation between skins they use. I’m afraid I haven’t actually worn it that much recently, due to extreme heat in the UK over the last few months. I may do another review of it in winter and would be happy to do the short video of colours if you’re interested, though I’m actually abroad at the moment and won’t be back for a few weeks, unfortunately. Let me know if you’re still interested, though. I still very much recommend this jacket and if anything would only make my rating higher in a future review. The main negative point for me now is just the lack of internal pockets; I like pretty much everything else about the jacket.
That's very precious. I have been in touch with Perri she is very helpful! I'll also go for the straight finish according to your comment. Yes inside pocket i wanted one also but the issue is that it will be visible in the skin so I have preferred to avoid the idea. Enjoy your trip ;l) and yes always interested in the video
my dad bought me a sink87g kb but i wanted an rk61 for bluetooth :(
Sorry to hear. Hope you can return it.
how do i bluetooth my sink87g kb?
I’m afraid you can’t other than with the dongle, as far as I know.
Thanks for your review. It would nice if you’d showed yourself wearing them. Cheers
Random question but how did you find switching between UK and US keyboard layouts? I really want the RK84 but its only in US layout
Not random at all. I actually didn’t realise it was US layout until after I bought it. It doesn’t bother me too much, you sort of develops the muscle memory after a bit, but I guess this depends on how many symbols you use. I generally use the £, “ and @ one’s a lot out of the ones switched, and find nowadays I don’t really think about it much.
Sir. I want to buy these online but they only have size Large available at the moment this side. And I’m a size medium? Do you think they would fit me?
They do fit fairly tight but I’m really not sure how big the large ones will be, I’m afraid. I probably wouldn’t recommend these anyway, especially as they’re not that warm and seem to have lost touchscreen functionality after one wash.
@@ricoreviews4468 😅 I don’t expect much from them, I just want them because they look cool
Masomenos
Schott is really small. A 2 XL looks like an L. Looks like kids sizes. 108 cm chest circumference I had to send back the size 2 XL. And the leather is super stiff, it looks like cardboard.
I didn’t really find that with the sizing on this jacket. I think mine is a large - im 6’ 2” and it fits me ok. The leather is quite stiff but I like that on this jacket, it’s almost like armour. Definitely good to also own a less stiff jacket as well though, as it’s definitely more practical.
Great review. Few do reviews after they’ve worn the product for quite some time
Thanks - yeah I started out by just looking around at stuff I have and reviewing it. I may do a ‘few months later’ review for my Blake Hedley jacket, as I’ve found myself liking it more and more.
@@ricoreviews4468 good to know. I’ll probably get a Regis myself. But it currently Spring. Maybe BH improve its pockets this upcoming F/W season. Your down to earth delivery when reviewing apparel is refreshing in this sea of over the top salesman on UA-cam
@@LeadLeftLeon thanks, really appreciate that. Yeah I have no desire to sell anything, I just want people to know when those making products have made something worthwhile or not at all. Have neglected the channel a bit but will try to post new content soon. I defo recommend getting the Regis for next winter and yes, maybe they’ll take heed and get that important inside pocket in!
Do you still use them? I am debating about the RK84 or Sink87G. I want a full size from them, but they don't have black.
Yeah I still absolutely love my RK84 (I eventually got the white one and ordered + installed Gateron black switches, which are very similar to the reds). I feel it actually makes me more productive, simply because I enjoy using it so much. I’d definitely recommend the RK84 more heavily due to the additional connectivity options and pass-through charging but if those things don’t matter to you then the Sink87G is also a solid choice.
@@ricoreviews4468 thanks for the reply
@@ricoreviews4468 I am planning to buy Royal kludge Rk84. Confused between Brown and Yellow switches. I use Cherry Mx Red on my current keyboard and I make lot of typing mistakes on it due to its low actuation force. Also is there any alternative for RK84(any flaws in RK84) My basic use is coding and gaming.
@@naman0141 I’m not sure about yellow switches - you kind find guides online that describe all of the different types, though. Brown switches are tactile, so they have a ‘bump’ on the way down, which will be different from your red switches. Red are linear, so they go down smoothly with the same amount of force all the way.
@@ricoreviews4468 now that the rk68 comes with tri connectivity (2.4Ghz, bluetooth, wired), do you recommend it?
Gut jaket kulit 👍👍👍
Does the lamb skin leather feel like it built to last? I tried a lamb skin leather at a similar price and it was too flimsy. Might have been that particular hide
To me it does - the whole thing feels very well made and the lamb skin is pretty thick and sturdy, though obviously lighter than other leather. They also have a good returns / refund policy so you can try out without too much risk.
@@ricoreviews4468 I suppose shearling lambskin is tougher than just regular lambskin leather? The flimsy lamb I tried was top grain and waxed.
@@LeadLeftLeon no idea to be honest, but this one seems good. Haven’t had any others.
@@LeadLeftLeon Yes the more rugged Sheepskin coats are often more durable and improve with time. Hi i have issue connecting the keyboard with my ipad. It shows "pairing unsuccessful" . ive tried many times it still show the same error. Any help pls?

Strange they don’t sell this one in America
Oh weird. I really want to go to their US store to see what they have.
They do. It’s called the 184sm and is higher quality. These are LC models, made for European market. Big difference in price for the made in USA models, which are superior.

I find that the quality of the Schott NYC leathers (not made in the USA) are of really lower quality (apart from 2 or 3 models of which this one is a part) including with regard to the cut of the jackets. It's normal for the price difference...
Ah I didn’t realise. Seems I got lucky then, but will bear in mind if I’m looking for any others from the brand.
Do you own one?
I'm over stiff leather jackets. I'll take goat and sheepskin over cowhide and pigskin any day. Don't you think the stiffness of thicker leathers restricts motion in a way that requires one to get one in a boxy cut?
Yeah I guess so. Not sure really, as this is the only stiff leather one I have and the cut works for me. But you should see my other review, for the Blake Henley jacket, if you like sheepskin. They make amazing sheepskin / shearling jackets.
Leather jackets should be 'heavy'..! Good review though overall.
Yeah but this one is definitely unusually so, compared to other leather jackets I’ve had, so important for buyers to be aware I think. It does impact on its utility. Thanks :-)
The ones you wore before were inferior. Get yourself and made in USA Schott jacket. Then talk about weight.
Nice review of the three. I'll be looking for your LG 915 review. I also had some issues with that one (more about gaming)
Thanks for that. Yeah I found the LG 915 very lacking, especially when compared to these.
Thanks for the review! Working with a natural product means each jacket can differ slightly as each skin can be different. We use the highest grade skin. Hope the jackets kept you warm this winter.
Very understandable. It certainly did! Didn’t even have to make constant use of my usually essential roll-necks, except for on the coldest days (when temperature dropped below 0).
One question: Is the slightly shorter backside part of the design of the jacket?
it's not a proprietary cable, it's just a less commonly used USB type B - you can easily find those anywhere
Thanks for pointing this out - weirdly, I hadn’t seen these before. I’ve amended in the description and will try to add something in-video when I work out how.
fire review
Thanks, glad it was useful!
Sweet video. I recently made a video about the Buckley and absolutely love mine. Thinking about getting the Regis next so this video is super helpful. Would love to have seen more of you wearing it and all zipped up. Overall great video and keep it up!
Cheers, I’ll check out your Buckley video!
@@ricoreviews4468 sorry for posting the same comment twice
@@MichaelHsu95 haha no worries
Thank you for this video review! I made a review on the Buckley and absolutely love mine. Thinking about getting the Regis so this video helped a ton! Would love to have seen more of you wearing it and zipping it up all the way
Glad you found it useful :-). Yeah I was looking at the Buckley as well, but ultimately went with this one because I already have jackets with a middle opening so wanted variety with the slanted one. I was thinking of doing a one-month-on review update so now I’ll definitely do that - subscribe to make sure you catch it :-)
@@ricoreviews4468 just subbed!
@@MichaelHsu95 cheers, much appreciated. I subbed back :-)
@@ricoreviews4468 I lookforwatd to your review after a month of using it. I would love to see more of you wearing it, zipping it all the way up, walking etc. I am in two minds about getting this jacket since I am not sure about the size I should get. You have really good points especially about the pockets from the inside, and the colour looks so different from the brown they have on their website. Thanks for your reviewm very hepful indeed.:)
?????
Nice! Do more videos like this! Levi’s jeans with your fully zipped up shiny leather biker jackets❤️
Yummy 🦟❤️
Pure class
Does the gloves run big or run small for sizing?
Hello Derek. I measured my hands beforehand and ordered a size 9 accordingly, and they fit pretty much perfectly. I usually take a medium or M/L glove size.
Great video bro, their marketing sucks so thanks for posting this.
Cheers mate. Yeah I really couldn’t find much in the way of reviews either; glad you found it useful!
Hey, sorry you think that. As a small independent we work hard to make budgets stretch whilst keeping our prices reasonable. I would love to chat on how you think we could improve? Thanks.
@@blakehedley3858 hello :-). Still really loving the jacket, it’s my go-to! I’m thinking of doing a 6-month re-review when I get there and raising the rating. In terms of what would be helpful, I think a demonstration video for each jacket (so people get a feel for the look with different clothing and lighting) would be a good and fairly inexpensive start. I found it hard to choose between them with pictures alone.
@@blakehedley3858 i spent hours and hours to find a shearling coat that doesn't look like santa Claus and oversized. I found your company through UA-cam, but pade most of my research in English. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to find your company or products, and I found many small uk companies specialised in gloves, hat, or shearling. Your jacket look nice, i dropped you a message on Facebook for a jacket. Hopefully I have found my 2022 winter jacket
