I piped mine with westcoast saw, new dogs, and i switched to 1/4” pitch and the thing rips threw limbs

I saw your review and decided to buy it. I just installed a Duke's full chisel chain on my CS 2511 and it cut some huge chips and cuts fast, but it seems to bog a little more taking the bigger bites. I think this pipe and a tune will do it for me. I also have an Oregon 10-inch Nano 325 bar and chain that I'm going to try later on when I use it to cut smaller branches.

Also, buddy, great job, my opinion though. When you took that 1 side piece, you got to learn to put your saw away pretty quick. That will help you a lot God bless.

Happens to me sometimes, honestly when this happens I always kick myself in the ass for not climbing higher. I’m a big guy so I don’t really like being up on skinny tops. Also sometimes I just want to get stuff done quick. Safe but quick. Nothing broke and nobody got hurt, job was a success keep keeping on brotha! I’m in PA by the way where you located? I’m gonna get a go pro and start making edits, put the east coast on the arborist map!

How do you like it with the mod I want to buy a 2511 I was going to order the one from ripsaw for a little present for myself for beaten cancer in December but the wait time was like 8 weeks or something and I was like forget that my 194 rips it has the muffler and timing done

This is a good example why i use a Humboldt when aloft. There's a good chance that butt would've already been off the stem and falling before the top hung up and caused the twist. Glad it worked out for ya

Definitely get the Egan performance pipe for the 2511 and take the carb limiter caps out. It's a completely different saw with 2 simple mods. Just did mine the other day.
