Yes
curiosity... how to change water in your tanks?
what do you filter your 120gallon tubs with?
Lazarus Gaming If you look again, you will see multiple sponge filters.
this set up is awesome I just subbed your channel
Impressive !
amazing!can you really make a good living threw fish breeding?I've bred some cichlids before.
is your car on the drive way
Awesome fish room! I subbed, can you sub to my channel?
That's a great setup you have there. Good job!
Everything looks good. BUT. That bright blue background paint is from hunger. You never want to have a background brighter than the fish colors. The fish do not present as attractively as they should and in fact, look washed out in most samples. Black would allow them to color up to better intensity and show better against the tank wall. If you have something against black, use a dark charcoal gray for neutrality. Just my not so humble opinion. Some project.
your fishroom and fish are amazing! I subb.
Where did you get the rocks? And what type are they?
those blocks won;t break :/
those wood stands look like they can break at any moment.
+FatPot G they are notch at each section to hold more weight they are rated at holding 450 pounds on each shelf.
Where did you get your blower?
the concrete blocks under the fish tank in the corner are turned sideways, they have way more strength and structural integrity if you turn them so the holes are oriented up and down instead of side to side, you should be able to look down through the blocks to the floor. If they haven't already failed, you may want to drain that tank and fix this before it becomes a real problem for you and the fish inside that tank.
You guys are acting like he has tractor trailer trucks parked on the blocks. They might have 125 lbs of weight PER SIDE. My grandma weighs 130 lbs and if she can go around stomping concrete blocks in half then I'll stand corrected. Till then drop it.
+Brad Stumpf if you had paid all that money for fish and a tank, wouldn't you want the 6 dollars worth of concrete blocks supporting said tank and fish to be as strong as possible? You clearly have no concept of load bearing principals. Get real pal, anyone with any sort of practical knowledge knows how to orient concrete blocks for strength. You and the creator of this video clearly have no practical knowledge.
+Brad Stumpf Sure thing, turn the block sideways and watch it crumble. The integrity is in the design, not the concrete. Drop it from standing height and it will shatter.
Hi Ryan, where are you located?

We are located in Demotte, In. We have plenty of cichlids available. You can get in contact with me on our facebook page HCI Cichlids or email. Hcicichlids@yahoo.com Thanks for getting ahold of us.
Nice variety.. What do you feed all of these fish? I have one large tank, and it seems like they're absolute pigs.. With your volume of fish, can imagine you must go through buckets of food?
I feed New Life Spectrum Food. Best in my opinion but I also mix it up with a variety of vegtables and other foods with a lot of Spirulina in it. I am a dealer for the food so if you ever need some I deliever. HCI cichlids is my facebook page.
How can u tell if the females are holding in the horse troughs
I can tell by how they act usually but will sometimes just pull them out to look at them. Most of my breeders are in actual tanks and use these as grow out tubs
Great video. Sub u.
Why so loud.
There is a 5 hp blower pump that I am using to filtrate all the tanks in the room. It is noisy but works extremely well. Sorry. :)
harika bayıldım
What temp do you keep the room at? Does it maintain well in the colder months? I am in Michigan and would like to set something bigger up in the garage Thanks
It maintains very well in the winter months. We got temperatures around -5 to -10 for quite a few days last winter and it kept up well. I keep the temperature at 78 on the thermostat.
is the other red empresss possibly a intermedius?
Yes, I did have some of those also.

hi, just an fyi, I noticed your cinder blocks were on their sides, this greatly comprises the integrity of the blocks as far as strength goes, should rotate them , great room!!!
Actually if you knew anything about physics you would know that being they are submerged under h2o, the integrity of the structural strength is greatly compromised due to the pressure enclosing around the perimeters of the cinder block. In fact, it being on it's side only benefits him more because it adds some hiding spots for his known territorial fish.
Ralf Nuggs the blocks he's talking about aren't underwater, and they will fail if they stay sideways like that for too long.
True I thought he meant the ones in the tanks which I think he means still
He doesn't, he means the ones in the corner that the big tank is sitting on. Why would he care about the blocks underwater failing? Makes no sense.
8 seconds into the video, the tank sitting on blocks. They're obviously turned the wrong way. I bet this tank has already come crashing down.
I'm working on my African Mbuna tank. I want to use black sand. Is there a reason why people do not use black sand?
I have used black sand in some of my tanks and it looks great just got to make sure you used the right stuff so it doesn't hurt the fish
Awesome fish room! Subadubdubed.
