Yes they are Strong & Stubborn, they have to be because they Hunt Deer, Cougar, Raccoon. But are Not Hyper like most Hunting Breeds, they will come inside and curl up on the sofa next to you. They're also Children and other Dogs Friendly ( they can be Cat friendly if introduced & Trained properly. Mine has Morphed into my Service Dog 🐕‍🦺 after a Failed Spine Surgery.

Okay so we sent Goldie on a 2 WEEK boarding program. She already knew “sit” but didn’t always do it on command unless a treat was in our hand; “hold my hand” - gave me her paw; “leave it”-wait to eat her treat or food until I have her the “go”. Walking her was a nightmare! She would pull with all her might and I couldn’t hold her back. When around others, she would jump in them and if it were kids, practically throw them bc she’s so strong. There’s was plenty of times when Matthew and I would joke “well, we got ripped off!” And even more times when we lost hope she could eventually be a service dog for Joel. We now have had Goldie back for two full days, my house is full of fur like never before, 😂, but it’s as if we have a brand new dog!!! We went on a 30 min walk yesterday, and I was able to pay attention to my kiddos and talk and be silly, all bc I wasn’t stressing on Goldie dragging us along the pavement. She now has the 5 basic commands and will follow then when prompted! Her trainers believe she is an excellent candidate for an Autism Service Dog!! She is still as playful and silly, after all she is still a puppy! But I’m loving the pup she has become and I can’t thank @offleashK9elpaso enough!!! If you all have a pup or doggy not so pup anymore) That needs help learning basic commands, I promise you calling eashk9el paso will be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make for your furry friend. Yes it’s pricy, but not as pricy as other k9training places-trust me I’ve looked!!! The 2 week boarding program is guaranteed throughout the life time of your four legged friend. So you’ll always be able to call them and refresh as necessary!! They’re also a natural company , so if for whatever reason you find yourself in a different state city, your training and lifetime guarantee will follow you and still valid!!! Seriously guys call them!!!
