Spring Pools ~ Robert Frost
🔰 "Whose woods these are I think I know. His house is in the village though; He will not see me stopping here To watch his woods fill up with snow." ~Robert Frost

🔰 Transcript:
These pools that, though in forests, still reflect
The total sky almost without defect,
And like the flowers beside them, chill and shiver,
Will like the flowers beside them soon be gone,
And yet not out by any brook or river,
But up by roots to bring dark foliage on.
The trees that have it in their pent-up buds
To darken nature and be summer woods --
Let them think twice before they use their powers
To blot out and drink up and sweep away
These flowery waters and these watery flowers
From snow that melted only yesterday.

What a voice to suck the joy that inspired Gillespie to write this poem out of its' telling. It's truly a tragedy that he should have died so young, but at least give the young man his triumph!

My mother died at the age of 64 years old. She died on June 11, 2020. The day of her funeral came, I was crying into tears, and from that day to today, I still miss her. I loved her. She was so nice to everyone who walked into her house.
