Room is better than Maker in most cases, but it depends what the deck is trying to do. If Dungeon is on the field, you can activate Room on the opponent's turn to prevent them from normal summoning. Set monsters cannot be flipped face-up the turn they are summoned. Also, the monster given to the opponent is not randomised with Room, it is with Maker. The second effect of Maker is also the same as Master but more conditional, relying on the opponent to trigger it, unlike the second effect of Room

If you have monster negation, definitely dragon. For ash, I would ash mimighoul maker. Any sort of pops, belle or ogre should be used on dungeon

My current VWSS list is unfortunately very similar to this I do have a Punk VW and Therion Punk list that's newer, however

I unfortunately haven't played VW much at all until recently again and it's been VW Adventure mostly

With the 3 charge, 3 argyro and 1 foolish burial those kind of hands have panned out better. It still happens but I think that's just the nature of the deck currently

Thanks for your comment! Since I made this video I've made a version with 9 hand traps. I've taken out ecclesia and 1 qinglong for 3 more hand traps.

@@LavenderSunyata would you consider playing Ecclesia at 1 or 2 or is it just unnecessary? Also I’m wondering is it worth playing xuanwu?

Ecclesia is good, but it unfortunately bricks slighty by not being a wyrm or enabling taia at all. I'd play 1 if you want. Xuanwu comes up, but usually because it's a third VW trap + extension through hand traps

I thought about Longlong but unfortunately it requires your opponent to control a monster to negate. If that restriction wasn't a thing I'd definitely play Longlong

Definitely a bit heavy on the losing hand advantage. I see it as no different than playing Small World if you're into that

They are nice if u can get away with it but most would probably pop halq with ogre n then how do u recover from there

@@CmangaNmusic if they chain ogre that's perfect cause now you summon lulu and VW combo your opponent hand looped themselves

@@rosum you would usually use your normal summon on ze amin. I think you could recover if you use emergency teleport to summon a virtual world name and go from there. I just got the deck so if there's another way I would like to learn it!

I personally like the larger Swordsoul package. I've been playing a version that fits 9 hand traps and 7 Swordsoul cards to fairly decent success. Slightly different than my first profile. Might make an updated video some time!

@@jonhashlinares3198 i dont have the money for the brave token engine and i also tried the p.u.n.k engine but in my opinion the ss splash is much more flexible and verry strong too see the combo*. with p.u.n.k you have to go first in there combo and 1 hantrap is enough to stop this engine completly.

same problem i play qixing the level 10 ss. with a good hand you can get out the draw 1 too, but yea still weak to nibiru...

@@nachtigal-zk4wg yep, true. The new Swordsoul 10* synchro can be a good option, however it does not stop the effects. An even better option, to have a negate, maybe is Ruddy Rose Dragon, but it's still weak to Nibiru because Nib does not destroy.

I'd say Chengying is the best replacement, but it's definitely a budget consideration and not quite as good. $100 pieces of cardboard is difficult, lol!

Wow, thank you so much!! I will probably make Virtual World centered content in the future. This was meant to be a one off video for a Discord, actually!

I think my major concern is that it requires a wyrm synchro to be summoned and we really want to summon Baronne. But overall, I think the card is cool. Maybe just a Tenyi Swordsoul card however!
