A Musical Journey... representing some of the many recorded moments in my musical life, featuring many of the musicians I've worked with. I have chronologized the different periods of my musical memories. From my early performances in rock bands to my classical and career related music projects.
My aim is to create at least three musically interesting videos per year, covering multiple musical genres of music on guitar, piano or other instruments. From time to time I will also feature my students, and the bands and ensembles that I'm currently working with. I also use this channel to encourage myself to practise, complete music projects and improve my video editing. So a lot of what you see on this channel might not be perfect. It is my musical journey

I'm hoping to learn this piece and I was checking UA-cam for examples of how people play it... and this is one of the best. I love the calm feel to it. Just the right tempo !
How long did it take to learn this
I'm not sure. Recorded this and a few others a while ago. I've been doing a Flamenco course. And I'm also sight reading the notation here, so I can't play it from memory

how long have you been practicing?
I've been working on this piece off and on for a long time. I'm wanting to eventually perform it live and do a full video/recording of it. It is my favorite classical guitar piece.
It's a great piece but rhythmically it's so hard

Thanks Laura. I got the music notation from Trinity College London. You can buy it from their website. It's part of their grade 6 Rock n pop Keyboard syllabus. Though it is a little simplified compared to Tori Amos' playing, and she also never really plays it the same each time. :)
