I got some disposable mascara brushes from the makeup counter in a department store. If you ask nicely they will give you some, I got mine when I was buying some makeup. They are also available to order from Amazon etc or you could wash an old wand from a finished mascara. Those bristles grab all the fluff.

. I was not happy with the jolly box so decided to skip this one very glad I did. I don’t see why cards are in a sewing box. I think the last 3 special boxes have not been worth the money and the sew sampler box seems to be going the same way. I’m seriously thinking of stopping my monthly box once the present so along ends.

I haven’t gotten mine yet but I have to say I’m disappointed as this box doesn’t have much in the way of unique notions and the value is lacking. The 2 cards-that is a rip off as 2 simple cards would not cost almost $10!! That’s crazy and not an item I think most would be excited about. I like the needle minder and the pin/needle bowl is nice (but they could have done something better than the large FQS advertisement instead the center - maybe a cute Valentines theme.) Come on FQS, you can do better. Additionally, they have done cards before but at least we got more than 2 cards with that box. I do love the fabric and the pattern is cute. The free item when ordering $40 is also a repeat as we got a rotary case with the Spooky box too. Overall, I was disappointed with the Spooky box and now this one too. The FQS exclusives aren’t unique or special enough to convince me to continue to purchase these boxes (at least as an unseen pre order). I would rather purchase items that excite me and are a better value because I will use them. This will be my last special edition box as they just aren’t as good as they used to be. 😢(Except maybe the Jolly box).

Very beautiful fabric. Too many notions

I should have learned from last year to see what is in the box first. I can't believe those buttons are valued at $30. Over $100 for the Jolly box and in my opinion it wasn't worth it. I will definitely view unboxings first from now on. While the fabric is cute, why so many dull colors? Our weather is dull, icy, cold and grey enough. Give me cute Christmas colors.

Nice unboxing!! I would have liked some more useful notions that you could keep, like the olfa cutter, stash n store, alohabitties or even scissors or pins like previous boxes. I don’t need a tray I can buy for $2. I do like the pattern and fabric but they should have put in the snowman white fabric if the project is snowmen!!

$30.98 for buttons? That's crazy - she could have put in the other fabrics for that price and said that the buttons needed to be purchased! How much was the fat quarter bundle? Cute fabric - I like Sweetwater but this is the last kit I'll be purchasing. Wasn't thrilled with any of the specialty kits this year because fabric could have been put in the boxes to make the quilt instead of the "limited edition" items that just didn't make sense. Are you happy with the box or is there something you would change?

Hi Melissa - thank you for the unboxing. I like the way you opened and displayed everything. Other than the pop up scrap bag, I didn't care for anything in this month's box. I'm surprised that between last month and this month that Kimberly had spring/summer fabrics scheduled for the boxes. I thought this box would be fall/winter fabrics for sure. Also surprised at the value of the plastic snips holder - those are 3 for .79 on Temu and I doubt she got those from a USA manufacturer - I could be wrong though. Again, thanks! I happen to love spoilers!
