I love all the thought and research you put into making sure the colors were going to work well together. The end product looks great!
The part with your daughter was great. I envy you, that you can let her join in. I am always to locked in into some intricate vision of how the model should be and have no space left for my daughters ideas 😢
Thanks, and yeah, it can be a lot of fun. Not advice, just sharing my experience: A. this comic: www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fvwm0u1x70s841.jpg and B. I often have to remind her I'm the boss of the thing I'm making but I always like hearing her ideas.
I like the idea that goblins take/value things because they think others value it, not because they actually know what it's worth or what it does.
I've always liked the fairy tale common fae that demand ridiculous and minor human-made things for literal magic
There are almost uncountable types of goblins, so I am sure that some would live like this. You have created a good background narative. My only complaint is that there should be more trails or ladders or ropes leading up to some of the upper doors.
That's too cliched imo
I ran out of patience/time for the project, but if I kept working on it I agree, some more play features for players to be able to more easily traverse different levels would improve it. I'm glad you enjoyed the little lore for the build!
Looks good! Goblins would live in a hive, wouldn't they
Right? I also love the mental image of accidentally disturbing something and seeing goblins just start boiling out of the structure like ants.
Nice job! And the music is dope. Where from?
Thank you! I spend way too much time scoring these, I'm happy it resonated with you. I get them from epidemic sound, but you can listen to them on soundcloud. First two are m.soundcloud.com/ambrejaune , third is soundcloud.com/clarencereed , 4th is m.soundcloud.com/lvgoon , glamour is soundcloud.com/deskant-music
love it :)
it looks great better than i can do .... but why the jig saw backwards ?
Haha, good question! Because I pick up power tools and go "I bet I know how this works" and don't notice I'm wrong until someone comments on the youtube video :P
I decided to make a life sized one in my backyard…
I have to restrain myself so hard from buying a big old duckcloth bell tent every time I think about these
That wells evil I tells ya, EEEEEEVIL
How’d you make the trees?
They're woodland scenics readymade trees; that being said if you want to replicate them Geek Gaming Scenics tutorials on making trees will give you a similar result
Wet and squishy. You got good results, though. :)
Are we still doing "that's what she said" or nah?
This looks GREAT!!
Thank you!
Amazing video, just found your channel and insta subbed. The camp looks so good and I love the detail you put in it, great job!
Thank you so much, glad to have you!
Superb base and tent, great job!
Thank you!
Incredible work man. Love how you seem to be just doing what feels right I want to be more like that with my pieces
Thank you! I believe it's all about being okay with following your intuition and then messing up, and trusting if that happens you'll be able to course correct. Hope your next piece comes out great!
Great channel, glad it came into my feed.
Praise be to the algorithm :P Glad to have you!
Tad bit of advice with the aluminum foil "rock texture technique", do the foil first, then cut the individual bricks. =)
That's solid advice, thank you
You’re very welcome. I’ve learned a great many awesome techniques watching UA-cam videos just like yours, and I really enjoyed this build.
Nice work
Thanks!
really cool!
Thank you!
Nice going 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂
Came out really good 😊😊 Not too bright but with enough color variation ❤😊❤
Thank you for the kind words!
@@hacknslashcrafts you are welcome 🤗
I’d imagine trying some kind of pattern on cloth like that would help distract from you not being as comfortable with fabrics yet; doesn’t have to be anything crazy thick stripes or blocks of contrast color could work and add some visual interest as well. Overall tho a fantastic job! I love seeing how come experimentation while crafting can lead to extra cool stuff like this, and I love all the little details.
That's good feedback, thank you. Also glad you enjoyed the video!
An interesting and innovative idea that needs to be digged further (what if you trim the fur much shorter or use PVA glue to fix the "grass"?). I just watched your Portal video and loved your technique to applying washes! Subscribed for more ;o)
Yeah it's been a while and I'm still interested in it. Might take another crack at a fur-grass and see what I can do. Glad you're enjoying, and it's nice to have you!
@@hacknslashcrafts Avec plaisir ! 😄
Looks sweet!!! The stone path worked out really well! Excellent work, I’m sure it’ll play well!!!
I'm glad you liked it, hopefully so!
It came out really well. We need to see where it leads to know......just saying
Thanks, and great idea! I'll have to think about that
Lindo e perfeito ❤ amei 🥰
Awesome work!! This video really helped kick up the spooky season a bit more for me, as well. ; ) <3
Thank you! Enjoy your spooks
Dude, your channel just popped up on my feed, with this video. Great video, I love your slap-cash approach and the wonderful end result. I had to sub your channel. This video was whimsical, energetic and fun. Looking forward to your next adventure into crafting.
Aw man, it's so great to hear that, I'm glad you're into it. Glad to have you!
Thanks for sharing this with us. Awesome job.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I am just mesmerized by the craftsmanship. The colours that brought the entire set to life 🔥🔥
This made my day, thanks
Results look amazing 😊😊😊
Thank you!

Beautiful work. I find that moss useful, for several things, but super brittle; trade-offs. I'm kinda blown away by the toothpick highlight thing; I guess always looking at stuff at half an arm's length, I forget to think about how it will appear, on the table
Finding that out for myself, this bundle of moss is the first time I've worked with it. Anything in particular you think it excels at? Also thank you so much for the kind words, I felt like I was doing something foolish while I was painting but was also surprised by the appearance from a distance.
First, a warning: What I'm about to suggest is best done outside, and with a mask on... I tend to pulse that type in a coffee grinder, then use that multi-coloured dust, as a perfect moss paste. Mix in bit of white glue, and smear it wherever. Especially good at hiding "less than beautiful" parts of a build, such as cracks, bald spots, and anywhere the under parts show through. Just know, when you take it out of the blender, it will be _massively_ dusty, at first. Just let that junk blow away. The heavier stuff is what you want Or... I sometimes I don't blend it, and spread a lot of white glue, then glue that sheet of stuff down, like a mossy carpet. Great for "earthen" roofs, jungle floors, etc. Luck! 🤞
Nice, I'll try that, thanks
It’s like 3D Art! So cool!
Awesome, thank you!
I really enjoyed watching this. It helped me get to sleep! The only thing I would give as constructive criticism is to slow down your Timelapse sections a bit. It would be nice to be able to see better what you are doing but also it gets a little flashy which could affect people with epilepsy.
I'm glad you enjoyed, and that's good feedback, thank you
WoW! I love so many of your ideas, and methods of application/effects. I thank you for the many inspirations. Cheers!
Ah, thank you for the kind words!
Well done! From planning all the way to execution!
Wow, thank you!
I never cease to be amazed by the talent and creativity of people! Edit: first time viewer who has never built a mini-anything giving unsolicited advice. Not sure if you’ve ever used podiatry/pedicure tools? There are these things called ingrown toenail tools. They are about the length of a pencil, made of metal, and double ended. Because they are meant for toenails, one of them has a very tiny file on one end and a “lifter” on the other. The other instrument has like these teeny tiny scoops. Point is, they may work perfectly for scraping, lifting, and placing things on small areas. They are metal so you can really apply pressure. And bc the ends are so small, you can really get into areas that your fingers can’t. They may be worth looking into!
These ones? www.amazon.com/Ingrown-Toenail-YINYIN100-Stainless-Professional/dp/B0882R384H/ref=asc_df_B0882R384H/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=692875362841&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8970455697366821462&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9061294&hvtargid=pla-2281435177138&psc=1&mcid=303251ebc6b4363b8d9c3116a254f0ac&hvocijid=8970455697366821462-B0882R384H-&hvexpln=73&gad_source=1 I'll give them a shot, they look really useful. Also thanks for the kind words!
i love this suggestion- i've always been looking for a file that tiny!
add a place to put one of those scent cones in the well the smoke will add a cool effect and on very bottom have a air tube that puffs a little puff of air every once in awhile and a flickering flame lite on the very bottom the effect would be cool and have a use other than decoration and a more people will want one have a friend that did the dioramas like yours only few people wanted to buy so he made them have uses like a lamp , table , bed and of course he made the fountains also like I mentioned above it would be cool to see that
Oh man I used to have one of those cone-smoke-dioramas, I've never considered making one myself. Great idea!
Nice work as always 😍😍
Thanks 😄
Definitely has the creep factor 😊
Yay! Thank you
@@hacknslashcrafts lol You are welcome 🤗
Bien joli ce pont, j aurai finis avec de la vrai mousse pour un rendu plus naturel .
merci pour le compliment! La mousse naturelle est une bonne astuce (pardonnez mon français, ma femme m'aide à traduire)
Looks good
That looks great!
Thank you!
This looks pretty good, although I have to wonder how often the woodshed roof collapses? I mean you would not build such a steep roof if you did not get lots and lots of snow.
@@ArmouryTerrain I was thinking about that when putting on the creeping roof foliage too...like man you got to clear that stuff off or you're going to get rot. Oh to be a carefree miniature person who does things just because they look cool
Nice work
Nicely done! I love how you flocked it.. it looks so natural!
Thanks! It was fun going ham on the flocking
Really cool 😎 😊
Thank you! Was fun to make

Very nice diorama, congratulations ! I watch your UA-cam channel from the south of France 😊 Where did the rails and the wagon come from ? What are the different "gravel" to make the soil ? Thank you !
Thank you for watching, and hello from the States! The rails and wagon are 3d printed from these assets: www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-mine-railway-and-miner-carts-228221. If you don't have access to a resin printer, "O" scale model train track would be pretty close. The gravel mix is from Geek Gaming Scenics, their main shop is out of the UK so I don't imagine shipping would be too bad to France (www.geekgamingscenics.com/)
@@hacknslashcrafts Thank you for the information ! I know Geek Gaming Scenics!!! I already have products from them, I like it a lot, you use what references Geek Gaming Scenics in this video ?
@@NicolasBN Oh cool! I'm 98% sure it's patchy plains
