@BrianGee-z6t So, when Elizabeth says to Mary that she's the mother of her Lord, she is referring to the human aspect and birth of Jesus, rather than God who is her Lord? Then how can Jesus be God if Mary only gives birth to one natural aspect? Or even be the mother of our Lord? The answer is, Mary gives birth to one divine person, Jesus who is God. What it sounds like you're saying is that Mary is the mother of the man aspect of Jesus. This is called Nestorianism which has been condemned as heresy by the Council of Ephesus. "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. *For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form* , and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority." Colossians 2:8-10

@BrianGee-z6t This isn't about feelings, it's about facts directly from scripture. Mary is the mother of God. I'm not saying, she's the source of the divinity. No one thinks that. Mary is the mother of the second part of the Blessed trinity, but again, not the source. Like you said, Jesus is God 100%. But Mary isn't the mother of the Father and the Holy Spirit. Hope this makes more sense. I apologize for my accusations earlier, I knew what you were getting at, I just got a little too defensive I think.

Long ranging forethought is definitely a gift given to us, and we should use it to make tomorrow easier. That being said, we should not allow worry take anything away from the present.

It doesn't make the lessons in these proverbs any less valuable, the religious scriptures contain thousands of years of wisdom. It's only the corruption of organized religion that taints their lessons. Believe what you want.
