Solo Soliloquy

I play Boardgames. Mostly solo.
Olympus - A Game Overview
Olympus came out in 2010 and is a worker placement game. I really like it and since it doesn't get much exposure, I made this overview video. Let me know what you think of this game.

Zombie Dice: A Solo Playthrough

I play Zombie dice using the solo mode provided by mpascall on Reddit. Sorry for saying it’s unnamed. I also forgot to mention that by the end of the game, each die scores points. Red=1, Yellow=5 and Green=15. It gives some agency to the decision of who to save and makes the mode a bit more dynamic as you try to improve your score each time. Have fun and try it out. Let me know what you think.
Great game review
Hi there. Thanks for the playthrouh of this variant. It's the one titled 'Jaipur Solo' in BGG forum page, yes? I really like Jaipur as a 2 player but watching this has made me want to try this Solo version. About shuffling the AI deck - Yes, I would agree that it seems the right thing to do. I would also consider randomising to reward stacks of the Goods Tokens (face up) which would possibly introduce some tactical element. For a really random experience, the Goods Tokens could be randomised then stacked face down even. The only way to find out the effects will be to try them. So.. adding that to my 'to do' list. I'm a fan of Desolate, Maquis, Iron Helm, SOS Titanic, Cartographers, For Northwood! (all Solo games) & Port Royal, Cascadia & Trekking Through History (Using Solo Rules) - any plans to do Playthroughs of any of these?
I love the idea of randomizing the tokens and having them blind. It would allow for some great decisions and a bit of push your luck! I do have my eye on Iron Helm, and For Northwood! has caught my attention recently.
Nice playthrough, thanks. A while since I've played so had to check: when a location 'sinks' - the card is removed from the game. You didn't do this on a number of occasions - and returned them to the deck. Quote from rulebook '• If the matching Island tile is already flooded, it sinks into the abyss! Remove it and the matching Flood card from the game and place them out of play' Also around 21:12 you should have discarded down to 5 with the Explorer. Could have brought about your dimise a bit sooner. Watching gave me the 'itch' to play again soon, so thanks for that!
Oh my! I’ve been playing it wrong all this time! Yes, it would have shortened my inevitable fate 😂 thanks for pointing this out.
Ayyy a channel revamp nice!!!🎉🔥🤩
Yes! I’ll stick to one thing for now.
Speaking of the walking dead currently reading the Walking dead RPG , it has also a solo mode
That might be something to try out!
That was close!!!!
I also forgot to mention that by the end of the game, each die scores points. Red=1, Yellow=5 and Green=15. It makes the decision of who to save a bit more dynamic.
