I would suggest iPad Pro 11 M2, that one was verified to be DC and power-efficient display, and has all the advanced sensors (Face ID for screen distance notification). If you prefer the horizontal front camera, you can wait for notebookcheck for the PWM test (Or I will test the iPad Air 2024 perhaps this weekend). Kind of busy this week.

@@Jmcarr24 TBH I can't judge that. People say it's more eye-friendly but sincerely I feel the mini-LED on my MacBook Pro 14 makes my eyes more itchy than the OLED iPad Pro 13 does. I can't explain why but it is what it is. I successfully used iPad Pro for Word editing for 4+ hours (with some break), but I can't do the same on my MBP 14 and I have to use the external display instead. I think the major issue of mini-LED focuses on Text reading scenario, which most people don't really do nowadays.

@@crearg8259 That is interesting. I tried a MB Pro 14 and it caused the itchy, burning in my eyes. Maybe I should try the OLED iPad Pro 13 to see how my eyes do. I currently have the 2018 iPad Pro and never have had any eye issue nor eye strain/headaches.

BlackMagic Cam (the company that made the official eGPU for Mac)，free but only allows parameter modification for video recording. It doesn’t allow photo capturing, otherwise it would be the best of the best
