Hi Chris - they are renovating the cars on Amtrak and we were super lucky to get a refurbished one when we traveled, but the car in front of us had the old style with the bathroom in the roommette. The best meal we had was the pasta option. Breakfast was really good too. I was only interrupted once with sleep because my son woke up, but about 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

The food is great - there are many options and choices depending on what you like.

It will go great! There is so much space in the seats and you can walk around too! You also can go into the dining car area for a change of scenery. It's so much fun - take advantage of the stretch breaks when the stops are about 20 minutes too!

Yes so many people like the extended monitor now that so many of us have multiple monitors at home.

Yes - I typically have them ordered the night before and have them delivered the day we arrive. Makes life so much easier!

No - they are an extra ticketed event. They do have Extended Evening Hours that are just for Deluxe Resort Guests on certain nights, but no food is included.

Haha - yes that's a lot of moving, but it is so hard to decide! That just means you need to do multiple trips. Make sure you get your ticket with the first reservation too!

This is not really true. If you have a one night stay, you get Unlimited Express for 2 days. The cost for a family of 2 or 4 for just Unlimited Express Pass would be more for two days than a hotel room for one night. The hotels are owned by Lowe's and not Universal - Universal gives these resort this special perk.

@@magicaltraveladventure yeah not really I cross compared the cost with a universal agent directly from universal. Staying at a value hotel and adding express passes was the same as staying at a premier hotel with express passes. Tell me how that’s free?

@@Hbush1987 This is for two days of Express Pass - when you do one day of Express Pass - it is around $400-$600 for a family of four. A premier resort can be $400-$500 a night. Now if we are talking about two days with Express Pass included and a one night stay at Universal Premier hotels - the hotel costs let's say $600. That is the cost for one day of Express Pass. You get two days of Express Pass which equals about $800-$1200. I am a Universal Travel Advisor and I have clients best interest at hand. When you call - they are looking to get you the highest cost. Understanding the math is part of my job.

This can vary from Universal and Disney World. Universal typically ends at check-out and Disney World can vary depending on where you stay. Some of the rules have changed after checkout since Covid.

I know you can pool hop at Universal. If you are at a Hard Rock can you go to another hotels club lounge?

Yes - In 2020 both plans included two snack credits a day.

Yes they do provide the props for you but sometimes they do not provide wands for everyone. And you will get a DVD of the pictures afterwards. They will be staged like you are in the Harry Potter movies.
