Just finished the game. Once the music did the persona thing, I said “oh my god no no it’s doing the persona thing do not make me cry man!” and yet it did. What a game man. Louis for me is in goat territory when it comes to villains/antagonists in games. Made me truly respect him and even agree with him in certain levels. I’m also glad that he never changed throughout the game. No “good job you win” like in some persona final bosses. No regrets from him. He really fought until the end and I felt somewhat bad for him. Stole the show every time he was on screen. I think we get a sequel in a few years. If not I’m more than satisfied.

Hopefully we get to hear this at TGA when Metaphor (hopefully) wins goty.

I love how this game goes full force with a villain who's loud and proud about being a bad guy and dares you to your FACE to stop him.

Battle theme of the year, imho!

God 0:00 to 0:15 is an INSANE start to this theme THEN PICKING UP at 2:15 this theme is SO good. Metaphor you where SUCH an experience, absolutely going down as one of my favorite games of all time

Ah the classic wait at the intro to get more context I’ve seen this before in games like Vagrant Story. Also the original P3 and P4 on PS2 had cool sizzle reals that were really cool as well.

I accidentally triggered this as soon as the first time back to Grand Trad. I was just sitting on the title screen, waiting for the intro to play again, and got this instead.

Playing this final boss with headphones in at max volume just felt so good. Atlus cooked as usual. When the ode to heroes theme came in, i shed a tear

I was enjoying the menu music when I first booted up the game, then this popped up after the normal intro. Didn't know this was a secret!

this feels like the very first reveal trailer for the project back in 2016 really cool they kept it similiar to that 2:01 especially this Live Action shot

I thought this unlocks after beating the game. I guess i never stayed in menu that long.

Spoiler alert I did the first battle against Louis on NG+ as a one on one battle with Soul Hacker Will. On hard mode. And I must admit, it was fun to do that.

louis has to be one of the best villains in any atlus game. he was seriously chaos incarnate, the most based SMT antagonist to ever exist, and he's not even in an SMT game.

I haven’t got to the end yet but if this is the final boss theme HOLY SHIT WHAT ARE THEY COOKING I NEED TO PLAY MORE Update: Finished the game, holy shit what a masterpiece, the graphics and quality of cutscenes, anime and in-game are lacking compared to other atlus games but except for that i have NOTHING bad to say, this is GOTY right here, maybe the best atlus game ever, even if i still consider P3R as my favorite

Louis and the Prince has similar motives stemmed from exact same incident ⚠️ Below are very major spoilers. This is a warning. ⚠️ Both lived in the sanctum, both as an elda. Prince's mother and Louis's parents are a casualty in Forden's arson. Has an ideal that they must achieve bc the king's can't, both are steadfast to make their own fantasy a reality. Both also outright said that the late King is basically a coward, giving up on his own ideals after facing the harsh truths. The difference between the Prince and Louis is... His Highness has lodetars, way before he, as a magla-composed self-insert OC incarnate, met Strohl. His parents believed in him, even beyond deathbed. Whereas Louis, he has rejected connecting to anyone to realize his true ideals; he has nothing. Because of this, he only thought power alone would decide equality. Basically, *Fuck Sanctifex Forden. Get Lowdiff'd by Louis.*

(Spoilers) For me, the tone shift with the choir at 2:12 evokes imagery of the people choosing you as their king and channeling their unanimous support for you in prayer during the grandiose climax. The music sounds so beautiful and hopeful despite Louis becoming a monstrous eldritch being that resembles the Satan from the Divine Comedy. Perhaps the music is saying with full confidence that Louis doesn't stand a chance in this final battle, and that Will's vision and ideals now overpower even Louis'. This game is awesome
