I would love some advice on this particular situation with my now ex best friend. After about five years we reconnected we end up reconnecting after we realize it was a miscommunication so for the past nine months we have been in consistent communication literally on the phones every single day multiple times out the day we live in different states. My ex BFF mother passed away due to cancer last year and I have been a big support system to her and I am honored to have been able to be that. However, we recently made a pact because we both also we’re dating around the same time that we will focus on ourselves and God my ex BFF is a single parent to a amazing daughter who is about five. The last relationship that she had unfortunately she almost moved him into her home, and she was a bit upset with me when she asked me for my advice, which I didn’t agree, thankfully things and not work out because he also was not stable enough, and they were not married. It was recently brought to my spiritual attention from god to bring awareness that she should build connections with other like minded women like herself. Example mommy groups or women groups or clubs/ organizations. Let’s just say she stop talking to me and there’s that I was completely hurt. She has cut every single person out in her life, and she does not realize that she depends on me for everything, and I am not God and I cannot be her everything. I am unable to speak to her every single day every single second so I end up learning that she may be codependent and I love her and I have been there for her during the grieving process of her mother, so I understand but she’s at a much better place right now, but I just couldn’t believe that I was cut off after simply saying that whenever she’s ready she should connect with other like-minded women like herself I just don’t see how you could cut someone off by bringing awareness in the most gentle this way possible I even prayed before telling her this because that’s what God wanted me to tell her
