For many music becomes part of life, just not the main part. In teenage years, it provides an identity and daydreams of becoming a star. In the 20's you realize you have "world-class" talent, but no one cares. Then you realize you aren't a kid anymore. Building your legacy and taking responsibility become the focus. For some, you have kids and in order to spend time together, you rediscover the activities of your youth. That is what happened to me. When one of my boys started guitar lessons, I decided to go on the journey with him. It wasn't a fit for him, but became an obsessive hobby for me. This is my place to share MUSIC FOR FUN, NOT FAME. Enjoy the music and be kind - I am not a pro, just an old guy rediscovering the joy music brings to life.

It has been a while. More 70's Gold. This is a campfire song from fish camp on a solitary island on the French River in Ontario. It sounds better with whiskey. Missing the north this summer. (The new guitar is a Yamaha AC3M and I recorded the audio to a Tascam DR-40x)

Glen Campbell was the first music my brothers and I listened to as children of the 70's. In our eyes he was more famous than anybody.
