GPZ7000 power
Переглядів 481Рік тому
In this video we are still in the Murchison region of Western Australia. Today I am using the mighty GPZ7000. While the newer GPX6000 is an awesome machine it was great to swing the 7K again and remind myself what a great machine it is.
Multi ounce gold specimen.
Переглядів 474Рік тому
We get to witness the unearthing of this magnificent specimen containing over 2 ounces of beautiful gold. Congratulations to the finder who wishes to remain anonymous. We have also kept the location unknown as I believe the lucky man will be returning with a larger coil. I hope you enjoy the video. AGT

Переглядів 342Рік тому
In this video we find some bread n butter gold, the small bits that add up over time .Plus we do a quick comparison of the 2 detectors we use on this tiny stuff. the GPX6000 & GPZ7000.
Leprechaun Gold 2

We return to our Leprechaun patch for more gold nuggets. As is usual for this area, the nuggets are not as big as they are plentiful. This video shows just a few.
Leprechaun patch 1
Переглядів 186Рік тому
Hi viewers, in this video we decided to try a new area. On the morning we found this place there was a rainbow in the direction we were heading and it appeared to end roughly in the vicinity of where we wanted to go. Lucky for us it did and we found our little Leprechaun patch. It was impossible to film every target but there were well over 40 of them, and I think Mrs GT may have just out detec...
Reef gold
Переглядів 181Рік тому
In this short video we return to where we found one of our honey hole reefs in the 2022 season. We find more gold in the same small reef. We also have an added bonus of some modelling of not so new prospecting boots just great for the harsh outback terrain. This particular footwear has been going for over 60 years without a resole.

Well.. Can’t wait to see what you get this year. Cheers Famo59 👍🍻⛏️
Is that down the tanami or q
Yes on the Tanami. Thanks for your comments.
Where did you get your pick?
Hi Patricia, thanks for the comment. That pick came with an old gpx5000 that I bought used a few years ago. I believe they are made by a company in the Pilbara. Maybe Pilbara prospecting supplies may be able to assist.
Thanks for the reply@@aussiegoldtrekker
Very Nice
Thanks for the comment.
No mate none of us have the desire to sit here watching you dig up them lame yellow rocks, we all come just to hang out with you.... ya right, who am I kidding... lol great videos keep them coming...

107.74g @ AU$96.65 = $10,380.21 !!!!! There's a nice guitar I've been wanting to buy mate......this would make a great birthday present for me.... mate.
Hahaha kunny font!
Good stuff, and had fun finding it, Nice
Thanks Peter.
Well done 🎉🎉 beats workin 😊
Thanks for watching mate and thanks for the comments. Unfortunately back at work now lol 😔
Good video John, But I have to ask where are the 8,10, and 20 gram nuggets gone. These days you tube is full of sub gram nuggets.Makes me wonder what has happened everywhere.Once it’s picked up it’s gone. What are your thoughts, good to see Angus is still ok. Cheers Greg
Hi Greg, that's the thing it doesn't grow back. I think there are still good nuggets to be found you just have to walk over them, but they are certainly less prolific.
Happy days 🤙
Thank you and thanks for watching.
45 is a great machine but comparing a 15"? round evo to a 12x 7 inch eliptical coil on a 6000 is not an apples to apples comparison however. Nice chunk, well done.. love the GPX machines
You are right about that comparison, I think the 17 on the 6000 would be a whole different matter. Thanks for your comment.
Guess that has you wondering just how much gold at depth you have wandered over and not heard John, Love my GPX 6000 due to to the lightness but won't be getting rid of the GPX 5000, Congrats to the finder, great find. Hope your having some luck to. Cheers Peter T
Go the 45 👍🏼
May I ask John, was he using a modified 4500?? Thanks Greg
No standard.
@@aussiegoldtrekkerThanks Mate
Eureka Yeee Haaa Congratulations on that awesome find. Cheers Famo59 👍🍻⛏️
Good video John, Just shows how much deep reef gold you are walking over with the 6000 Cheers Greg
So true, it also shows that the 4500 in the hands of a good operator is still a great detector.
Great video! It captures some of the excitement of the whole process from getting the initial signal, throughout the dig and the eventual reward. Keep-a-digging, you two.😎
Awesome !!!
my question would be would that small nugget stopped you with the 7000
Good point, however I detect low and slow and do find tiny bits with the 7000 regularly. I have seen others with the 7000 that I can hardly keep up with just walking behind them that wouldn't hear it. All depends on your technique.
7000 and the Doggie keeping an eye out for a sun baker and a snake !!!
He saved my a55 in Halls creek 2 yrs ago from a snake. 🐶
Give me the 6000 any day
Yes top machine, however they both are and both have their place. How did you find the Audible response in the video, both easy to hear?
Nice nugget 👍
Thanks
Good find 👍
Thankyou and thanks for watching mate.
Hopefully they keep on coming, Got to be a bigger one about there somewhere.
You would think so hey?
Good to see finding colour
Just unsubscribed
Sorry you have gone mate, can I ask why, something I did to upset you? And why feel the need to announce it?
Well done 👍 Cheers Famo59 👍🍻⛏️
Thanks Tony
Ouch.... What about the bindies?😎
Nice work John
Thanks Jesse
Good to see your adding to the finds total, see those dam flies are as friendly as ever.
Haha, there are certainly more flies than gold.
Hi, just joined your channel thanks for sharing, I have tinnitus had it for a year now, and I would wish it on anyone because they have not bothered to find a solution for us, some days are better than others but I guess nothing can be done, I have tried listening to sounds that are suppose to help, but no deal, I just treasure the days my brain gives me off from the noise of tinnitus. Goodluck with all you do.
Yes in the same boat, nothing seems to help. Thanks for the sub.
@Aussie Gold Trekker I do take Ginkgo Bilbao daily, it does help but takes around 6 weeks before you notice the difference.
@@69kiwijon thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try.
Thanks for the heads up .... I thought the 825 Hz sound was my tinnitus!! Fun Fact: If you can tweak your detector to produce 852 Hz, you'll have one of the beneficial chakra frequencies. It's supposed to repair your DNA etc. and some say it'll awaken your "third eye"!!?!?! The mind boggles. (P.S. Angus wants a pat.)
Nice gold congrats. Just a bit of advice please dont let Angus wander around out there as 1080 baits can be anywhere.
So true, I know a person that detects out WA her dog found a bait and died just last year, Bloody nasty stuff, banned in the US yet produced in NZ by a US owned company that exposts around the globe.😢😢😢
Nice work, the 6000 goes nuts over small gold hey. Cheers 🍻
You are right there. Thanks for watching mate.
Good to see you over there pinging some gold, I'm envious 😉not sure what to do to settle the gold itch this year. Hope plenty of beeps keep coming, Cheers.
Thanks Peter.
Omg the flies are next level John! 😱
You better believe it Jess!
Sound is terrible
Yes true it is. I think it should be better in future videos.
Go the 6000 Great 👍 effort. Cheers Famo59 👍🍻
Thanks Tony
Hi 👋 Great nugget.. Hopefully 🤞 catch up one day.. Cheers 🍻 P .S I appreciate you asking how I was doing..
Nice and chunky!
Thankyou and thanks for the sub.
Love that shiny stuff!
Never gets old hey?
Thanks for the videos. Please remember to "move the camera " slowly side ways.
Thanks for your comment, I will try to remember, and thank you for watching.
Wish my wife would join me.
It is a real bonus for me that's for sure. Thanks for watching.
Hey John! Your biceps must be as big as Arnie's by now. Great video. 😎
Hahaha wishful thinking!
Nice find well done 👍
Thanks Greg.
Good to see you diggin some gold John, cheers.
Thanks Peter. 😊
Mick got 2 shotgun shells at 500 deep on the right side of the road going up the hill
Yeah there is some deep rubbish there. Thanks for watching and for commenting.
Good to see some highlights from the trips John. I totally think that musician from Stanthorpe should have more air play mate. Cheers Greg
Thanks for your comments Greg, I checked and rechecked the music before uploading and it seemed fine, then on playback the intro sounds like an old cassette tape with issues and the outro was too quite lol. BTW the musician is not from Stanthorpe, but your right he comes up with the goods.
Great video! I subscribed... (again!) . Keep a - diggin'.😎
Awesome nugget John…always a good sign when it’s found in clay…well done mate ⛏⛏🤩🤩
Thanks Lynnie and thanks for watching. 🥰
nice gold find what sort of pin pointer do you have
Hi mate thanks for watching, I have one of the original minelab profind 25 pin pointers. I find it very handy once the hole gets a bit deeper. Last year in my Honey hole #2 video it got some use also. 👍
