BEFORE YOU COMMENT: I’d like to mention one more thing, the entire cove panel completely died for no reason a little while after making this video No power at all. So uhhh yeah just kinda proves my point I will mention one thing; I’m not talking about the new cove panels at all. As far as I’m aware, you can’t even get these older ones anymore. The new ones work a lot better I’m sure. And people have been talking about how the motion sensor was too high. Every other alarm system has a high up mounted motion sensor. My ring one is almost to the ceiling. The one ADT themselves installed in my dad’s home is that high up. Makes it harder for children or others to fuck with it. When you go off of what you’ve seen, the average homeowner is going to mount it high up because that’s what they’ve seen. NOT EVEN TO MENTION, I had a spare motion sensor in my closet that even though it wasn’t in a corner, it was in the MIDDLE of the wall, it still failed to detect me multiple times. So, there’s that.

With cove, you have to but it lower and not have it tilted, All alarm systems are like this, but Cove is definatly the worst. Let me clarify. This package is the worst, they ended up going with the command box route with their newer package and it works alot more better than the V1 and V2 packages
