"Ultimate Smash Beef Burger Recipe
Welcome to our kitchen! In this video, we're sharing our secret to making the ultimate smash beef burger that's juicy, flavorful, and downright delicious.
In this step-by-step tutorial, we'll show you how to prepare the beef patties, the perfect seasoning blend, and how to achieve that coveted crispy crust by smashing the patties on a hot griddle.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat recommended)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sliced cheese (cheddar, American, or your favorite)
- Burger buns
- Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, etc.)
- Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your griddle or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Divide the ground beef into equal portions and form them into balls (about 2-3 ounces each).
3. Season each ball generously with salt and pepper.
4. Place a ball of beef onto the hot griddle and immediately press down firmly with a spatula to smash it into a thin patty. Hold for a few seconds.
5. Repeat with the remaining balls, making sure not to overcrowd the griddle.
6. Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes until the edges start to brown and the bottom develops a nice crust.
7. Carefully flip each patty and immediately add a slice of cheese on top.
8. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes for medium-rare to medium doneness.
9. Toast your burger buns on the griddle until golden and crispy.
10. Assemble your burgers by placing the patties on the bottom bun and topping with your favorite fixings and condiments.
11. Serve immediately and enjoy the juiciest smash beef burgers you've ever tasted!
