I've watched this. I think the interviewer is a bad actor. I think Mr. Galtung can't say what he wants to say, and also has been habituated to not make an total effort. He's (Mr. Galtung) is human, after all. Note that this is at the Peace and Conflict Resolution Centre at GMU in Fairfax, Virginia, the interviewer might be the boss of the institution. I like Mr. Galtung, but this interview is all I know about him, not even wikipedia. He's kind of optimistic though, but maybe he's just putting on a face to get a subtle point across. He shouldn't have to.

So what does it all means, when the mind is lost and proud to represent the insane. Ask yourself what would you do if you was not a part of that predicament. Would you give out more to be used the same way, or bring in better education that you see the ones who got it still could not find their way. Or would you start scheming to eliminate them because you see their leaders love to see them that way. Can you look at the picture as the way it is, not the one that reality know you can't make it happen that way. I myself believe philosophy push to.many things in people life they did not want in their mind to follow the concept the philosophers convinced the system to force on the people. Not saying it's wrong, but saying there's a place for things to shape the minds in time, but not by force, only by the minds adjusting to it. If one can't come to the adjustment, then shall it be, as long as it will not interfere with others life.
