It helped me a lot, thx alot!!
Good afternoon everyone
Incredible system you created. Would be cool if there was a way to recreate that easily. You may have the next best edu-tool out there!
Whoa.
Fantastic job Nick! I loved that last part (12:35 to the end) & I could not agree more!
Man, I LOVE this guy!
Can you post a link for the second chart you showed? Thanks.

So inspirational!
Super helpful! Definitely going to adjust my teaching in-class and online.
Nick, how do you create this game? I'm in, but I need to know the how!
Hard to explain: I mean, it's completely original--I didn't follow a template or anything. But I'm confident anyone could create something as complex, if not this exact "game." Just look around and be creative...and sign up for the Q/A with me and Taiko later this week!
LOL - You have to suspend your belief in chronology - love that Beowulf comes in at level 2. :)
Thank you for showing!! Useful for math too in doing “three reads”
Hey, Brian, long time no see! Great video!
Our "check-in" yesterday was 'when was the last time you went to the hardware store, did you find what you were looking for, and how did the project turn out?' Your tutorials remind me of talking with the hardware store guy who knows EVERYTHING. Love the breadth and depth of these. I set up a goformative account while watching and listening. Thank you!
Who is that dashing young man?????
Thank you for this. In reflecting on these critical ideas, I am reminded of this NYT editorial from 2019 by David Brooks: www.nytimes.com/2019/01/17/opinion/learning-emotion-education.html Perhaps it will be of interest to some of you.
Thanks for sharing this, Melissa. So true. Students learn from teachers they love.
Extremely challenging presentation, thank you Nick! It is also a compelling case for integrating gamification in my courses.
The presentation is hard to see. It’s better if you zoom out the avatar and enlarge the presentation.
Oh my goodness, I LOVE the Museum Acquisition project. I do a ton of art history/theory in my British Lit class and think this would be a fantastic activity to include. Many thanks for the idea! :)
Really enjoyed this Jen! Thank you!
Carol, we use the Hunger Banquet in my APES class when we discuss Food Production. It goes a long way!
Great video! Very helpful and inspiring! I now have a much better understanding of and appreciation for Zoom. I was not a fan... Actually, I dreaded using it. One question: how do you distinguish between an announcement (made during the meeting) and information that can be communicated in writing prior to the meeting?
Hi Magdalena. Usually, the announcements during the meeting have been communicated in writing previously and elsewhere. It's a repetition. Some students miss the written version so I usually try to remind them in the synchronous context. It helps get the message across. Hope this helps!
